DH and I went out for a quick bite last night and the guy next to us sent back his first glass of wine after he tasted it, then a second. The waiter came back with a bottle and he didn't like that either...sent it back. He then came out with one that was acceptable to his liking.
I thought you were only supposed to send wine back if it went to vinagar? Not just because you didn't like the taste of it.
These two people ordered huge amounts of food IMO and one man didn't say a word, the "rejector" was very condescending with the waiter in every aspect imaginable.
He probably gave him a $2 tip...if you know what I mean
So does anyone know the rule on ordering wine?
