For my hair I would like it down but I can imagine on the day I may get quite flustered and if I have my hair down I could get very hot - plus looking at photos if it was down and different strands were out of place it might annoy me So at the moment I'm thinking of having it up but I haven't found anything I really like yet - but watch this space

Thanks, thanks and thanks! I agree, I don't know what I'd do without the DIS. I've really appreciated the glad I did/didn'ts as it is helping us not go overboard which I think we can all have a tendency to do!

Yay for colours! I originally wanted pink but DF wasn't so keen, but now we have lilac I'm so pleased as it suits us both

Hi all! I meant to take a picture of DF's tie and shift which we've had bought for quite a while now - it was these which set the colour scheme for us, but as the weather was so glorious we spent the weekend attempting to tame our new garden. We moved at Christmas and the previous person in our flat never even used the garden and she had lived there for years - if you can imagine how overgrown it is!

So for now it will just have to be a description. The tie is a lilac block colour but the weave is in the shape of roses, it's quite hard to describe but you'll understand what I'm rambling about as soon as I post a photo

After we got the tie we spent ages looking for a matching shirt, DF didn't want a white shirt and he didn't want a purple shirt so we were really aimlessly looking for the unknown....... then we found this shirt which looks a very pale lilac from afar but is actually a white shirt with very tiny lilac patterns on. Again, sorry about the description but I'll try and get the photo sorted

So now all he needs is a suit, at the moment he is thinking of pale/mid grey but we have been waiting for the summer suits to come out in the shops so we should be able to get one soon

Greg will be wearing somekind of pink either tie/cravat?! (Spelling completley wrong) lol But u know what I mean!

I LOVE grey suits with pink, I couldn't convince Simon on the pink - you're so lucky, they'll look great together, what shade of grey are you thinking?

Hey Bex,

Well... I did have to convince Greg into pink... its more of a dusky kind of pink... My all time fav film is 'Father of the Bride' and she had a very traditional palet of colours... so I was thinking pinks and creams - We will be just like them!

And as for the Grey... i think hes thinking pale grey? Im not sure, he will look great in anything- So we shall see!

I cant wait to see more from your pj! Im off to florida in about 25 days! I have meetings with florists and cake people! and I think were even meeting with a photographer and the lady that has designed our invitations! Gonna be busy!

25 days - that is exciting! I love Father of the Bride I look forward to hearing which cake flavours you go for - as we can't have a cake tasting we're choosing blind at the moment, so not totally sure what we'll choose

You are welcome, they are great, it is a studio in her house so it is a little out of the way of the town centre but I really enjoyed my first appointment and she had a huge amount of dresses in loads of different sizes to try on

I haven't heard of her before, but I'm sure she'll be great, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone having an issue with their planner and that's the joy of DFTWs

Not yay for Vita anymore! I found out from another thread about all MK photo shoots being cancelled from the end of October to past our date in November and Vita ia away on holiday and no-one else will talk to me

I managed to get an email back from kathleen who looked at the dates and said there are some available while we are on holiday but that I have to wait to be contacted by photography to re-arrange our shoot. Meanwhile everyone else who has been affected are already re-arranging theirs!

It is so frustrating thinking about losing our shoot and not being able to do anything about it until they contact us

I know some people have now lost all chance of having a MK shoot which is really sad for them but we still have a chance and no-one is doing anything to help us, Disney's communication on this has been atrocious

It's just a waiting game now.....

Even though Disney obviously has a monopoly over MK photo shoots, that's no reason for them to behave this way.

Thanks, I know it's not good but I got an email from our planner today saying:

"I have been told that a representative from Disney Photography will be contacting you this week if you were affected by any changes to the Magic Kingdom Portrait Session. Please let me know if you have heard anything and I will do the same."

So maybe it's not as clear as what the other thread was saying about them cancelling the whole block - I'm really hoping we're not affected, but if we are the planners should really know about it. Anyway I'll keep you posted!

On to nicer things, we're currently trying to pin down our cake flavours and design as we're thinking of paying extra to upgrade from an escape cake, I'll add some photos later today

So we finally got that call last night and we have been moved to 10th November - 9 days after the wedding!

So we have a few issues to sort out including floral for the shoot and how to stop getting any tan lines but I'm sure everything will be fine - although with the time change it means we won't have any shots in darkness which is a little sad

I have seen lots of amazing Epcot shoots and they always look super romantic
