Really Poor Show on Splash

Went on Splash yesterday, and had the worst show I've ever seen. It almost wasn't enjoyable.

1. Projection element of the three characters missing
2. Popup Brer Rabbit and hop across to the right missing / no audio
3. Brer Fox and Brer Bear hanging from the tree completely inactive / no audio. The rope was actually limp on the floor
4. Brer Rabbit above laughing place drop had no audio.
5. Missing water effects in Laughing Place
6. Gator pulling on Brer Fox completely inactive. No audio. BGM missing in this area as well.

I'm pretty sure there were a couple of other audio elements missing also, but it was really disappointing.

I hear ya. A few years back we went on it and none of the audio and anamatronics was working? It was almost errie!

Yikes! That does sound poor. Didn't Splash just have a short refurb?

When I was at the World in December I also thought that Spalsh was not being kept up to par. Some of the animatronics looked really rough. One in paticular was Brer Rabbit stuck in the honey. His fur looked so nappy.

I think the problem is that this ride is so popular that everyone complains when it si down. it seems to me that it only goes for re-furb a couple of days here and there, never really long enough to fix everything. Last time we were there was after a quick week of re-furb and there was gum everywhere. YUK Plus the cushining on the bars was peeling and paint missing on the seat portion of the logs. Not up to par. I still had a great ride though!!

I've seen this like this before, and I agree...it's disappointing.

The guests are having so much fun that they don't have time to make notes of these things and drop them in the suggestion box on their way out.

Do the CM's go on inspection trips on each ride first thing in the morning? I would expect them to do so at least to verify that the ride vehicles go around correctly. For just about any ride -- Haunted Mansion, Small World, Splash Mountain, Buzz, when the inspection trip is completed, most of the ride vehicles, at least those that remained in the circuit overnight, have also gone around the circuit.

That is really disappointing. Especially when we were there a little over a month ago when it was refurbing. It was disappointing that it was closed but we were happy because at least it was getting worked on. Maybe it needs to go down for an extensive rehab. I hope it doesn't go down in January again because the last couple times we have been there at that time it was refurbing. I agree that it would be nice for more input from CM's like a previous poster said.

Are you serious? During my last trip(Jan 2-9), I was sooo upset over Splash Mountain AND Rockin Rollercoaster being down.. And it's already getting back to the way it was? Wow..

I hope that they start fixing all of this. Splash has been like this the past few trips for us and it makes us so sad to see our favorite ride not working to it's full potential!

This attraction is too important to be in this condition. Somebody is asleep at the switch.

But you folks have also got to relize that splash is probably one of the most complex attractions in the park. add to that the mildew and water and the humidity in the air all are factors when it comes to this ride.

the last time i was on it it was presine and that was aroudn december. even hopping brer rabit was working. I do feel they put to many boats on at a time. IF a boat has to stop and wait at the drop off like that do so many times thats just killing the effect.
