Well, we went back to the resort for a nap and snacks and such.
we’ve got plans for AK this afternoon that are now going to be pretty complicated with the ride going down pretty close to our BG- 43
Hoping they keep the 2 hour return window all day.

Does anyone know the nature of the breakdowns? Are they software? Hardware? They will probably never release the info at least not until they do a behind the scenes special 50 years from now.

Boarding group 35 and only 35 now. What does that mean clearing everyone out of the line to shut it down?

I wonder if the line is even moving now.

Question. If we get to like 5 or 6 o’clock and the ride is either down or recovering very slowly and not to our group, would it be unreasonable to go to a GET and (politely) explain we have a paid event in another park and ask if it would be possible to get a return pass to try again tomorrow?

Snagged boarding group 5 this morning. Ride delayed opening until 7:41 am, I remember this because I received the “your boarding group has been called” before the cast members at the entrance were notified that the ride was open. They asked around for a minute then someone came up and told them it was open so they let us through. Had no issues with the ride and we were off by 8:07. Both my BF and I were not on Wifi. He had the app open and was refreshing and I opened the app 10 seconds before 7 am, clicked on my status at exactly 7 on the dot and was able to join a boarding group immediately. BF’s join a boarding group option never loaded. Hope this helps.

Good luck to everyone today! Waiting for our HS (8AM!) day of 2/4 - it will be very interesting to see the effects of an 8AM opening. We have two very early risers (8.5yo and 6.5yo) and since this is the first (I think?) 8AM opening for HS, we plan on arriving around 6:30AM and....camping out.

Is anyone else headed there on 2/4? Thoughts on timing? We are pretty "get everywhere early" people and would rather arrive too early than on-time/late. Will be reporting back to this thread on 2/4 with hopefully good news!
