Quick opinion question—going down today, don’t expect to be able to make to park until 12:30. Should I try for 7a hoping to get later BG, or wait until the 1p in fear of losing our chance if got a really early BG at 7a trial?

Well, I tried it but purposefully took a smidge longer than I would normally. No dice! Will try at 1p. Here’s hoping!

We were at DHS on Friday 3/19. We were up and outside at Pop ready to get our boarding group and couldn't get it. They were full within 3 seconds lol. We did try again at 1pm and it was much easier. We sat at a table outside of the Starbucks on Sunset Blvd. It was fun hearing everyone cheering. We got boarding group 102 and we were called around 3pm, which was GREAT! No breakdowns! When we went in September we were BG 13 and weren't called until 1:30 and BG 54 and we weren't called until 4pm! It broke down a lot that week.

WOW 3 seconds!!! That is a long time!! The three times I tried they were gone in 1 second

Failed 1PM practice today also. Final screen took a long time to load. Going to try the method of jamming the place I know the bar is going to come up on that final screen. Can't hurt to try while practicing!!

Wow I failed at 1pm too!!! Seemed to be taking longer to load then my morning run.... Did it again this morning and was successful... After that 1am trial I was getting a little discouraged.... Now Wondering if there was a glitch

I had my wife run it at the same time as me this morning, and I ended up with a "connection error" and she might have gotten through, but she was not sure what she was looking for and clicked "back" after the third JOIN and did not remember what it said.

I am concerned about my "connection error".

Wow! I can not tell you the last time I was able to get in, then back all the way out to the AT-AT screen and then all the way back in a second time before it closed booking. Hope that means the ride is having a great day and lots of people will get to ride!

I started practicing earlier this week in anticipation of our August trip (yes, I am obsessive). Tuesday I was successful (or at least I got the "is everybody in the park?" screen, which I assume means I would have gotten a BG had we been in the park. Wednesday I decided to test the "don't ever waste precious milliseconds hitting 'select all' for your party" warning and it was indeed true, I got the red box of doom. Today, successful again. Using time.gov, I've found that I should take just a millisecond after the clock hits 6:59 to pull down and refresh to get the join screen. Hitting it right at 6:59 is a hair too early. (I was still successful after refreshing again, but every fraction of a second helps...) Fortunately there are still 156 more days (but who's counting?) to practice...

I think this was my issue this morning. I actually tried to hit the JOIN screen a tiny bit before it flipped over to 7am, and ended up having to back up and start again. However, I did not get the red box of death, I ended up getting stuck, telling me I had a "network error". I just had an iOS update last night, so not sure that caused that to happen.

I do not have enough experience with this yet... Just practiced a total of three times with two being successful and yesterday's 1pm not... It seemed like the screen was thinking and taking to long... Thought it could the connection or a glitch but not positive... Not sure if it has anything thing to do with soooo many people trying to access it all at the same time... I was thinking of having my three boys down load the ap and start practicing but I wondering if that will confuse the system or gives us a better chance.... Hoping someone here with more experience can better answer our questions.... Pre Covid I was pro planner.... But this is a whole different game plan for me so I am learning like you

Ok, I was successful this morning and got Boarding Group 2!

I had Group 11 a couple days ago, and it said to be in line by 9:43 when the group was called.

Is Group 2 in the same batch or will it be called earlier than that even?

So the good news...I was able to snag BG 29 this morning. Woot! The bad news...somehow my mom and one of my sons are not in BG. I think my son didn’t have them added in his Friends and Family list. I forgot to check that....ugggghhh. Please remind me.....where is the assistance kiosk in the park? And wish me luck in getting this fixed. Thank you!!!

Look for the GET CMs standing under the blue umbrellas in the park. I think GET stands for Guest Experience Team, but I kinda forgot the meaning of the acronym.

I didn't do anything fancy last two days... just waited until time turned over to 6 am (7 am Orlando time). Got them. Was feeling cocky this morning... and, my hand slipped and it scrolled instead of hitting join. I quickly fixed... and... no dice. The stress is REAL PEOPLE! LOL. (And, the moral is: don't get cocky, kid!)
