Both times it was my daughter on iPhone 11 on Verizon who got it for the four of us trying. The one on WiFi never got the red button. The other two on Verizon did, but she beat us. She had the app open on the page and the button turned red. Monday we were near the front entrance. Today we were in RD crowd on Sunset Blvd.

Started walking from Beach Club at 4:15. Arrived at DHS 4:40. Security and through gate in about 5 mins. Had seven people trying to get on. A party member on LTE got in right away. BG 31.

Despite my best efforts to screw it up by missing the turn off for HS we got into the park seconds before opening of boarding groups and got #66. Any idea on time for that one?

I am traveling to FL for work next month. I plan to take the first flight on my travel day and go to the parks. If I arrive at DHS around 9:30am is there any chance of getting a boarding group?

I’m going to guess about 3.5/4 hours after they start calling groups.

What time does the park open? If it's 9am then you might get a backup group

It’s going to depend on what time the park opens. It would likely be a backup group if any are still available.

The only problem with that is that your plan might not work since there have been days when the BGs were full after 1 or 2 minutes. You don't know if your app is going to have problems, and if you wait to try, you may end up with nothing. My suggestion is to get a BG as soon as possible and if you get a low number, see a GET CM and ask if they will change it to a later number for you. There are reports on the thread of people having success with this, although there's no guarantee.

She did not have to refresh. It just turned red. I had to hit “my status” to get it to come on. I was a couple seconds behind her for that reason.

You should probably check what number people next to you are getting first.

I wonder how strict they are on the two hour return window. We will have an infant (napping in afternoon hence the 5pm return) so we will have to ride in two groups. For that matter, are they doing rider swap? Didn’t even think about that.

If you read through this thread - many people have posted areas that seem to have stronger wifi, and that there are ways to check your speed.....good luck!

You should probably check what number people next to you are getting first.

this definitely doesn't work. We've had reports of people being next to each other getting wildly different bg numbers
