QXD vs. DGL code

Also is there a difference between QXD & DGL code?

UVL--room, tickets, and deluxe dining plan

However, if you booked with disney they would have applied the more appropriate code for you even if you gave them a different one. I booked with the QXD code and later called with the UVL code as I had the deluxe dinning on my ressies. They said the UVL code was already used!

Are these room only discounts or do they also give you a discount on the dining plan?

The discount is on the room portion but you have to book a myw package with tickets to get it. You can also add the DDP or deluxe ddp

Yes, I just called and said "I would like to see if this discount code will work for my reservation". Then they checked availability. The first few times it was not valid for my dates (Dec 6-12). Then the other day it came available for my dates. Good luck!

Discounts are only on the room portion.

Pin# can vary on the discounts. Generally some are 20%, some 30%, and some 40% regardless of the level of resort you choose. At least that is how mine have always been; didn't get one this year.

Either way, our deluxe discount for the AP rate was 18.8% at GF. Any pin code discount would have beaten that. The package rate was a much better discount, but since we had to purchase one day base tickets (at least), it would have cost me ~$300 more than the AP rate. Not a good deal for us because DH gets a sizable discount on tickets through his job.

I have heard/read that the moderate and value % off was better. You can always call and check rates and just stick with what's best. A phone call never hurts.

We got a 20% pin code first that ended up being a few dollars less than using the code. However, using the code we got 3 one day MYW tickets. So I ended up using the code instead of the pin since we got 3 tickets for
$ 20.
