Quick Question About Park Hours in August

The hours posted now for August are, for instance, 9-10 in the MK. On July 31. the hours for the same park are 9-11. I am just wondering if they normally extend the park hours any when it gets closer to time.

And do they sometimes make the opening time earlier due to crowd level?


I was just comparing it to our trips at Thanksgiving and it seems like they always extend the hours and add second night parades and such when it gets closer to the dates.

Yes. At some point (probably this month), there will be updated park hours, which will likely reflect longer hours.

I don't think opening time is ever earlier than 9 except on morning EMH days and during peak times like Easter and Christmas.
