Question for Anyone who's had cancer (or any doctors)

Do you know if it is possible to have cancer but still have a Complete Blood Count show up all "normal".

Just curious. Thanks
 
Sure, the only time the CBC would be off would be for lymphoma, leukemia, and probably the advanced stages of most cancers.
 
I sure hope you are right phillybeth. I had a lesion thing biopsied & dermotoligist said it could represent a lymphoma or leukemia. Now just waiting for the hematopathologist's report. But in the meantime my CBC was normal. And we leave for Disney & 3 day Cruise in 2 days....I'm just kinda nervous. Praying you are right!

She didn't say that the CBC WILL be abnormal for those cancers. You can have a normal CBC with those as well. It all depends on the stage.
