Question about Ultimate Park Hopper Passes

I wanted to know if I am able to buy the Ultimate Park Hopper Passes for shorter than my length of time? I am checking in at my Disney hotel on October 20th but late at night...probably 11pm. Obviously I won't need park passes on this day. But I would need passes for 10/21 until 10/26. I checkout on 10/27 but I will leaving for the airport that day and don't need tickets on my last day which is 10/27. I figure that I would need a 5 night/six day Ultimate Park Hopper Pass to cover me from 10/21-10/26. If I walk to the hotel front desk on my next morning at the hotel which is 10/21 and ask to purchase a five night/six day pass will they let me, no? I would like to have the Ultimate Hopper pass but if they won't then I'll just by a 5 or 6 day regular Hopper Plus ticket.

If so, can I also buy the tickets in advance or do I have to straighten this out with an actual person at the hotel since I'm doing something out of the norm?

One Question ~ Did you buy a package thru WDW? If so, you won't be able to do this.

If it's a room only, then by all means get the 5 day PHP, that way if you decide not to do a park, this pass does not expire and you can use them another time.

Hope this helps somewhat.

I purchased room only reservations for my trip. I can certainly buy the normal 5 or 6 days Park Hopper tickets for my trip but I enjoy the Ultimate Park Hopper for its flexibility and the fax I can go as many times as I want where I want (including the water parks and PI).

For those of you wondering the answer:

I just called the front desk of the Disney resort I'm staying at and they said based upon my travel plans (as I spoke about above) that they can sell me the 5 night/6day UPH passes no problem. But I cannot buy them in advance so I'll have to pay a little more to buy them at the desk but I'm fine with that.

I would do 3 separate reservations. I would do a room only ressie for the 1st and last days and then I would do the utimate stay passes for the 2nd night until the last night. I did this last year. I stayed off site the first night and checked into my DIsney hotel the morning of the next day. My passes were good as soon as I checked in around 8am. My room was ready then, but I wouldn't count on that though. The passes expire at midnight of checkout. We then went to our airport hotel for the last night since we were leaving early the next morning. We plan on doing this again this year except we are going to stay in Disney for the 1st night. Have fun!

I have never had a problem getting either the first or last days taken off the Ulitmate hopper. You don't have to book different reservations. Make sure you tell them exactly what you want.

Have fun
