Question about the Nighttime Safari

We're currently scheduled for a FP for the Safari on 30 Oct, 6:00-7:00 pm. That was the latest on offer. The park closes at 8:30 pm that day. Would that be considered a "nighttime safari"? Should we show up at 7:00 pm?

Sunset in Orlando is at 6:42 that night. You'll need to make the decision on whether you want your safari to be at dusk or in the dark. At 7 o'clock, it won't be totally dark yet, but likely would be by the time your safari ended.

Absolutely do dusk and yes that is a night time safari.

OK great! Thanks! And thanks for the sunset time, Delirium. I should have looked that up. Dusk sounds good. 6:30 pm? What's good about dusk as opposed to after sunset? We have a Tiffins' ressie at 5:10, but I think we should be ok for a 6:30 show at the Safari.

We went at dusk and it was great. We saw more animals on that safari than any of the other daytime ones in the past. And the "sunset" effect looked pretty cool. Some say it's cheesey, but we really liked it.
