Hope this brings a smile to those who need it:

I just preheated the oven to make some cookies.
Sunday love to all. Are any of you watching Crossroad Springs? I am enjoying it more with each episode. James, one of the main characters who plays a pastor, quoted from James 1:12 in yesterday's episode: "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him."

Jeff arrived around noon and joined us. We did Slinky Dog Dash, Rise of the Resistance, Mickey and Minnie RR, and smuggler's Run again and this time Ethan joined us. Dinner at Brown Derby was great. Love the Cobb salad and we tried the grapefruit cake and chocolate cake. We met with Darth Vader and Chewbacca. Ethan started dancing when we were with Chewbacca and Chewbacca joined in. It was so cute. We had late LL passes for Tower of Terror which Owen really wanted to go on. I stayed with Ethan as we did not want to ride. Well, once Owen was in the room just before the ride, girls screamed when the lights went out and Owen said I want to leave now. He told me he will ride when he is 9. Saturday we rode Remy, Guardians, Test Track and Soarin. Then we went to MK to do Peoplemover, Carousel of Progress, and Tron. By the third day of 8-10 miles a day we were tired. In the early evening Jeff, Kenny, and I went to Epcot to spend some time together and visit some of the booths. The belgian waffles were great, the chicken teriyaki buns were OK but my DSs loved them. Kenny left to get the kids into the shower so Jeff and I wandered around a bit and got some food at the Alps booth. The dessert was amazing. While we were wandering around, the 3 of us, we talked about Chris and our trips to Disney as a family. There are alot of funny moments and nice family times. We also talked our life with Chris too. I feel like Chris is with us when we travel especially to Disney. Jeff is my sensitive one and we chatted about how things are now on the way back to the hotel. Kenny busies himself with work rather than deal with emotions.Yes he did see her, she passed in the kitchen, and he passed on the other side of the kitchen. The other cats saw both of them. I buried them both way out back where all of the other ones were buried. I have concrete stones I made for each of them with a paw print and their names on them.Lynn, did C3PO not see that the other cat had passed away? That’s so sad. We try to let our dogs see when that happens. They know. We even let them see the hamsters who passed. Toto was just a puppy when our German Shepherd passed in the living room. He saw that, but we also brought him out when the van came to take her to the crematory. He watched them putting her in there and driving away. Ugh.
Last week was kind of a quiet week just resting and putting things away from the trip. Still not done. I have some appointments coming up this week, Wednesday will be important for upcoming decisions.
It got chilly here the past couple of days, had to turn the heat on. Weird since I had the AC on on Friday.
Loved the duck video, @theluckyrabbit! @dazedx3 @lynxstch Wishing you both a wonderful trip!
Have a good week everyone!![]()
We took the girl (7) on it this time and she loved it. It’s actually one of DD’s favorite rides and she really loves DD, so it made sense for her to like it, too. (Little guy still didn’t want to go on Soarin’ or many other rides, though he said, “Next time”. He turned 5 on the trip - so we actually had three birthdays!)
When I stay at Boardwalk resorts I tend to do the World Showcase from France and go around. I go in through the International Gateway. But this time I was heading to Soarin so I stopped in Canada first.
When my dog, Holly passed away, I planted a Holly tree over her. Now as I lose each one, they are in a circle around the tree. It's also pretty far back in the yard.Yes he did see her, she passed in the kitchen, and he passed on the other side of the kitchen. The other cats saw both of them. I buried them both way out back where all of the other ones were buried. I have concrete stones I made for each of them with a paw print and their names on them.
Prayers for your Wednesday appointment.
