I have been getting that error page also, it started last week. I hope it gets fixed soon.
DH had chemo today, Dr. put him on steroids because of a chemo related itchy rash he has been dealing with for a couple weeks. He also can’t taste much anymore, so it is a struggle to keep him eating. It is hard to watch☹️

@dazedx3 I hope the steroids help your DH with the itch. Eating can be a struggle. I know this is probably intuitive but maybe find what he really likes that is full of flavor. Also calorie dense foods that are easy to eat. You and your DH are in my thoughts and prayers.

@Judique The little terriers can be feisty for sure. Jasper who was a Silky terrier had his moments when other dogs came near us. He was very territorial.

Lovely day so far. I have been out for my walk and now getting ready for work.

Have a good day.

I may have mentioned that my Yorkie has anxiety and it manifests itself occasionally in aggresiveness. So I keep him away from most people.

Today was the day he decided to go nuts. I'd been outside with the girls and he was crated. We had come inside and the girls were having snacks and I put him outside to go potty as it had been a couple of hours.

DGD was still sitting at my tiny kitchen table. Yorkie gets to the door and turns around and runs back in and under her chair, snatching a paper napkin that had fallen to the floor. He's been around them many times and loves them but....now he's trying to sort of protect her from me.

This means he doesn't want to go outside, and doesn't want to go in the crate, plus is confused and doesn't know what he wants so he gets aggressive - to me! I'm barefooted and he's snarling near my feet. I tell my DGD to get on top of the table, because I don't want to take any chances. She climbs up there and is out of reach.

Meanwhile he's snarling at me and I'm trying to calm him. Usually he will react and then switch gears within a minute, but, this time he didn't get a chance.

My big orange male 13 year old cat appeared quickly and jumped on him and attacked him. I was able to grab a closed umbrella which I extended and poked at both of them with it. Let me make it clear I didn't strike or hit them, just pushed the soft part of the umbrella between them to try to separate them. Yorkie had enough and ran to his crate. I quickly closed and latched it. Big Orange Cat runs to the crate, and stared at him, sort of like, dog, you better learn who is in charge around here! This whole incident was perhaps two minutes.

After Dog settled down, BOC comes over to say, 'Are you okay?' I gave him some treats.

Meanwhile Yorkie will have to be leashed when going out, when the girls are here. It's been easy to just let him roam free in the kitchen area and go in and out on demand, but looks like back to square one for him.
Sorry for the set-back in training the dog, but I have to say I love your cat!

Good morning all. Another hot one here,,90, but right now a comfy 64. Wish it would stay that way. They say 49% chance of strong storms, why do I not believe them? Have already watered everything good this morning,,just in case.
@dazedx3 saying prayers for your husband. I hope the steroids work!
@frog3101 Thinkin about you and praying things are going well this week.

Hallmark ornament premiere is going on, if anyone is interested. I can't look on there too long, will spend too much $$ ,lol Posted my favorite so far next to today's picture

Nothing new to report since last nite, at least I was able to get on here this morning,,we'll see how long that lasts.

Have a great Tuesday everyone

 to @Canadisney Fly and to @dazedx3

@Pea-n-Me Silly Toto! Dogs are so funny sometimes.

@Judique I have a cat with anxiety. She will go to the back of the house to the dining area, while I'm in the front of the house at my computer or watching tv, and Tiana will start doing her panicked "I'm alone!!!" meow, until I 'shout' that I'm here. Then she'll run to where I am, meow a couple of times, then settle down. When we leave for a weeekend, we usually don't have anyone come and check on the cats, so I have to sprinkle some 'calming catnip' mix onto her spot on the cat tower and on her toys in the back of the house. The catnip works to calm her down, but I don't want it out all the time, because I'm worried that it will stop working. MJ gets upset when I'm gone for more than a few hours, but it doesn't panic her or anything; she just gets super lovey when I'm home, and will insist on being beside or on me for hours once I'm home. I could get meds for them, but the vet says it isn't affecting their physical health; they still eat and play and do everything they usually do, so she said it's not necessary.

Yesterday, I channeled my inner @lynxstch 😂 and got up early to get the front yard mowed and weedwacked. It started sprinkling when I was just about done mowing yesterday, and I ended up weedwacking in the sprinkles; and I'm glad I did it when I did, because right after I finished, the heavens opened up and we had heavy thunderstorms all day long! It was so bad, that for awhile, the street was flooding. Yesterday was trash day, and they were out picking up trash in that mess; they left our trashcans in the gutter, and when cars would go by, they'd create a wake and my cans were floating down the street! I had to go out in the storm, luckily it was just medium rain at that point, not thunder and lightning and sideways rain, to rescue them! Well, the storm saved me from having to rinse them out. :crazy2: We had hot dogs, mac n cheese, and spinach salad for dinner, because the mowing in the heat and humidity wears me out!

Today, more storms. The ground is so wet, so no mowing today. I'm going to get the whole house swept and mopped, and vacuum the little carpets, and get the bathrooms cleaned, if I can once again channel my inner @lynxstch . :rotfl2: Watching the J6 hearings this afternoon, and working on some more needlepoint Christmas ornaments while I do so, I think. Dinner tonight is roasted harissa cauliflower and chickpeas, over basmati rice, with some lemony sour cream sauce and feta. DS is going to do the backyard either tomorrow or Thursday, depending on when it dries out; and he's going to spray for weeds on the driveway and in the mulch/rocks too.; but we have to wait for a day of drying out.

The last few days, we've been catching up on some shows we haven't watched, and I'm watching "The Floor Is Lava". It is funny, but I like those kind of shows (Wipeout, Holey Moley, Cannonball...but Holey Moley has the best commentary of all). Oh, and the QOTD: I am currently reading a few books. On my Kindle, I am alternating between 'Crown of Destiny' by Beatrice Small; 'No Stone Unturned' by Steve Jackson; and 'The Girl Beneath The Sea' by Andrew Mayne, depending on my reading mood. I have a Nora Roberts book with three stories in it for bathtub soaking time (one I can put down for a long time, pick up, and know what's going on in the story because it's easy to read); and I have a Stephen King novel (Insomnia) for when I can't sleep and want to curl up in my chair in the living room to read.

OH!!! DD#2 said I could share this! She had a VIP tour yesterday....
289893517_10220573715589839_2833517436805568153_n.jpg
She says Kirsten Vangness is the sweetest person. (DD didn't ask for the photo; Ms Vangness offered to take a couple with her at the end of the day.) DD's done tours with several NFL players, a couple of directors, and two or three actors so far; and said this was her best one so far. She's had two 'regular people' tours where she told her boss that she will not take them again, and that they need a male guide for them [one was a Middle Eastern family, where the way the man treated his wife and girl children made her uncomfortable; and the other a Russian (maybe, she wasn't sure, but definitely from that part of the world) where the male spent his entire time on the phone, and disregarded everything she said, but when ever a male coworker at where ever they were said the same thing, he'd listen]. >:(

Also, She made VIP trainer this week too, so she gets to train all the new VIP tour guides for Legoland CA! When she doesn't have a tour, she gets to roam around the park and make people's day, by putting them to the front of the line or buying them an ice cream cone or whatever; it's LL way to 'drum up' more VIP tours.

DGS#4 got his first Covid shot last week, (he's 9 months); and apparently it upgraded his 5G, because the same day, he started standing without help! :rotfl2: He is already over 25 lbs, and eats like a champ. They had to move him off of formula a few montsh ago, due to the shortages; and his pedi said that it was ok to do so, since he's a champion eater. She did prescribe some liquid baby vitamins, to make sure he gets his daily intake of what he needs. He's been off of pureed baby food for 3 months now; yesterday when we were on video chat, he chowed down on some watermelon chunks and some spaghettios, because apparently he was starving and couldn't wait for dinner with the family, lol.

Y'all have a good day!

Hey! It's Prime day.
I'm getting ready to go look up a few things, was thinking about picking up some of these air tags folks have been going on about for luggage...
This is getting really annoying. For the last 3 hours I haven't been able to get on here.
Ok - I had the same problem yesterday! and yea, it was for a while - a good hour if not longer.

Finally! So grateful to be able to log in at last this morning. I hear you Lynn and everyone else on this being frustrating!

Warm morning here, supposed to be very hot this coming weekend. Very grateful to God extra to be able to share good news from the laundromat. Dad called to let me know that the other attendant, a nice lady named Kim, who works at the laundromat told him the good news that Joyce is well and will be back tomorrow. Thank you all for your prayers for Joyce.

:grouphug:Dazed and much 🙏One day when this plague truly is over, I will so love to get to actively be part of Relay for Life to do more of a part to help fight cancer. My friend Barbara (not Ann but another Barbara) is part of a relay team that does all sorts of behind-the-scenes stuff such as shopping and basket (for raffles) making. I can't wait to get to help them all with that.

Good for you, B&B, I think you and Lynn ought to go into business together!

PollyannaMom, how lovely taking a walk with a neighbor sounds. Enjoy, my friend.

Snowysmom, hug and prayers you have a good Tuesday.

Easyas, B&B, and all, I hope you do get some good Amazon deals. To anyone also interested Oriental Trading is offering free shipping on any order no minimum, today and tomorrow. The code is: CE224619

I shall check back later.

Thank you all for your hugs and heartfelt comments - the autopsy confirmed a "small recreational amount of cocaine" and a substantial amount of fentanyl. Small comfort was that it is a gentle passing.

I have heard that there are actually test strips that drug users can use,
Yes - I wish they were more widely available. We now have harm reduction sites where people can go to use drugs in the presence of medical staff - no judgement, all legal - just to try to help save lives, but it's the ones who use alone that are at grave risk.
you have remained at least somewhat friendly with him
I feel so fortunate that we (after a rocky few years of pain and hurt) have landed into a deeply caring and kind place. I was the first one he called when he received the news. I met them both together on the same day, so I too am feeling such a loss, but I know it's 1000 times more for him.
Oh how terrible for his family, your ex-husband and you are in my thoughts
Thank you easyas, and to all the Quackers. My two closest friends are going through so much personal trauma themselves (one is picking her 19 year old son up after 10 weeks of rehab, and the other is hoping for a spot on the surgical schedule for her 17 year old son's third brain surgery to remove a tumour that just won't stop growing). I feel so blessed that I have a happy, healthy, well-adjusted 16 year old, but it's hard to share the joy of his successes (or the burdens that I'm carrying right now over this recent tragedy) when both of my friends are going through so much. So thank you all for your kindness 💕

Well.so far so good and I haven't had any DIS issues since earlier. It was hot and sunny and 92 when I left to go to discount store over PA line with Sis in law. When we came out, it was dumping down rain so hard you couldn't see. Good thing we only live about 2 miles from it, lol. The weatherman finally got it right. It is currently 74 degrees and almost black outside. Thunder is rumbling and I've seen 2 lightening strikes coming down. I brought the outside cats dinner into the wood shed..they followed me like a little line of marchers..lol
Store had Wagyu beef again for 3.99 for 4 big patties. They also had pkgs of italian sausage, sweet, hot and mild, for $1.79 a pkg. Saves me some money at the market tomorrow.
Have a nice rest of the afternoon

Continued extra prayer, Canadisney Fly and :grouphug:Please take care of yourself, my friend.

Hooray, I'm glad to hear that Lynn. Saving money is sure always great, too, especially as prices seem to keep rising.

Waiting on a package from Walmart and tomorrow from Target. Dad got a nice surprise when Joyce very briefly stopped in at the laundromat. He said she looked a TON better than last week. Keep in prayer another friend who I found out has Covid now. still running rampant here, so sad all-around.

Remember the cereal bowl I am hoping to get dad for Christmas? A nice lady named Tracie from You Customize It has been working on editing the toast image I want to use. I got an email from the site offering free shipping and 10% off for the next two days. I'm hoping to be able to snag that and just have the bowl. I'd rather be able to put it safely away for months until Christmas than wait until later in the year to just start ordering. Be on the lookout sometime soon for a picture of what it should look like. Waiting for Tracie to email me back.

Keep in prayer that I do hear from the 99 Cent Only Store about Sue. I did email Matt, the person taking over for Janna, my contact who is on maternity leave. I (never) don't want to impose on Matt...I also got to thinking he may not necessarily remember who I am or about Sue! Today is exactly 2 weeks until Sue's birthday. Do all of you think I should email him again? Or wait another day or two. Thank you.

Afternoon good wishes to all!

Good afternoon.

I spent from 10-2 at church. It was a good day. I got to chat with the new minister and interacted with several other people. I felt like I did something.

Then DH and I went to a different bike store and I think I got my bike seat adjusted so I can ride again. Heading out to yoga soon. Chili and Salad for dinner after that.

Looks like a cool place and worth a drive one day, maybe after Sept. when shore traffic isn't quite as bad over the bridge!
Mini-meet at Old Stein Inn. You, @Judique, me, and anyone else who wants to join us.
I received some devastating news
So sorry for your loss.
Yorkie has anxiety
That is too bad but your cat is a hero.
Watching the J6 hearings this afternoon,
I was able to watch part of it online while at church but kept getting interrupted by my duties. I did record to watch later. And I set up another knitting project so I can knit while I watch.
Hey! It's Prime day.
This is the first time I have participated. So far I bought a power bank for my phone and a beach blanket I wanted. I had a list of things I was watching for. Mainly I want a treadmill. And DD and I are looking at things for the WDW trip. Cooling towels and why I bought the power bank. I am not a Prime member but got a month free. Must remember to cancel.

How awesome that you got to chat with the new minister, Carol! I truly pray you, Easyas, Judique, and others are able to have that mini meet! I would love to hear all about it.

Editing this post because I did go ahead and place the order. I wanted to be sure and get the free shipping! So glad you liked it Pea. I really appreciated your "love" like :)

Most mornings, as I probably have shared in the past, dad does enjoy a small portion of granola for breakfast. Come Christmas he will have a special cereal bowl that God-willing he will use in all good health and times for MANY years to come ❤️

A picture of the bowl is attached! I realized that only the front of the bowl could have a design which makes sense. I do think it came out cute. I had hoped originally that Merry and Christmas could be written in alternating red and green. I realized on a green bowl that wouldn't work other than with odd bubble white highlighting around each letter which I did not like at all. Looking at it again, I am pleased. I do think that by having Merry Christmas written in all-red makes the red/greenish "I love you, Dad," on the bread look redder and greener. I hope all of you like it as well and of course that dad will, too, come Christmas! 🎄
