Good morning! Cloudy here.

Our friend, Lazlo, who had the heart transplant is doing very well. My DSis visited him yesterday, and he looks wonderful. He actually had MRSA, but it’s gone. He goes in hospital weekly for heart checks. They check for signs of rejection. Nothing on that subject has developed!

We travel north to MA today. This weekend is Family weekend at St Anselm’s college in NH, where we have two granddaughters studying! One is a sophomore, one is a senior. I wonder if the leaves are changing. Well doon find out.

Enjoy your days!

Happy Thursday! :earsboy:

Went to Evan's soccer game last night and hung out with Mia ⚽. Evan was cutting it close on time, there was a backup on the highway, so I picked up McDonald's for her. She loves her nuggets and sauce. After tshe ate we kicked the ball and I showed her that if you throw the ball up the steps, it will come back. She did that for awhile then just went up and down the steps herself (there were only 6 steps on the bleacher seats). She wore me out, I was sweating.🥵

Got home just in time for Survivor. These people that they cast now are such wimps. Hard to watch anymore.☹️

Stopped at Kohls on my way to the game. Their clearance is an additional 50% off. I got a longer winter coat for $18 and a shorter winter coat for $20. Can't beat that!💵 Grabbed a couple pair of jeans for Jacob for a Xmas present.🎁

Taking off work tomorrow. Kroger is having a Wellness Event tomorrow and Saturday along a street in our downtown. This is the 3rd year for it but I haven't been before. Bailey went last year and said it was huge. I've been told to bring either a very big bag, a wagon, or a rolling cooler, apparently you get so much free stuff. Unfortantly it's supposed to rain this weekend 😟. Of course it hasn't rained in over a month around here and now we've been getting hit 🌧️. We came up with a plan b if it does rain, we'll head down to the Children's Museum. Mia hasn't been there yet and I'm sure she'll have a blast. I used to take my kids there all the time when they were little.

Dazedx3 - so sorry for your daughter and son-in-law. I can't imagine going through that so late in the pregnancy. 😞

Have a great day!

Good morning. There's a strange light in the sky, I think it's called the sun. It's not supposed to last long as they're predicting more showers this afternoon. Rain right through Tuesday if they're right. I'll have to get a guide dog to get through the grass is this keeps up. It's getting tall out there.

Watched Survivor last night. @footballmouse -do you find Rome and Andy to be almost as annoying as the person who went home (don't want to say in case anyone hasn't watched it yet?)

Nothing else new. Have a good day.

Good morning everyone.

I have a license. I got the real ID several years ago so my closest DMV could take the paperwork but they can't print the license. I opted to drive to the closest center that could print it, all the way out by the airport and not far from the Parking Spot I use when I travel. I am still waiting to see if the old one shows up. The stewardess on the flight home said she found it on the plane and mailed it to me but so far hasn't arrived.

I received some very bad news last night. My godson's 5 month old baby died. The baby's mother fed him and put him down for a nap and laid down to take one also. When she went to check on him he was non responsive and blue. Sadly he had died in his sleep, most likely from SIDS. I have little contact with my godson, he is my granddaughter's cousin and there are a lot of issues on that side of the family, but my heart is broken for him and his girlfriend. I can't even imagine what they are going through.

@dazedx3 - so sorry for your loss.

@Snowysmom - I hope you like your new phone. I switched to an I-Phone once and hated it. I couldn't wait to be able to jump back to a Samsung.

Food shopping today as I think the expired milk really needs to be replaced. Jim will keep using it unless it curdles. He has a new ulcer on his foot so I don't need to add anything else to the mix. His shoes are supposed to be ready and I'm waiting on a call for delivery today.

Hope you all have a good day

Welcome to/through my state! We have a smidge of color here in southeastern MA, so you should have a bit more to the north. Enjoy the trip!

Our thread is second to last which is never allowed! Vivian texted me a couple pictures of her trip. She is scheduled to come next Thursday. Grateful it looks as though she had a good time and is safely home. Love and sweet dreams dear Quacker family.

Good morning. It is supposed to be in the 70s today so a bit warmer. I was liking the 60s. The ride to and from work yesterday was not too bad. More big trucks on the road though. I wonder if they are trying to get things delivered before the strike. I had my eye appt on Wed. My eyes are doing fine. I am a bit worse in distance so they suggested wearing distance glasses when I drive in the dark and rain. I am not yet at the point of needing glasses to drive. I also got a prescription for up close glasses which they said would be more comfortable than readers. I bought the distance glasses from them as I have vision ins and got a good deal. I will get the other glasses from zenni. They did say I have the very beginnings of cataracts at an age appropriate level. I want to be younger age appropriate and not have that. I am queasy about eyes so they would have to knock me out and hold me down to have surgery. I told the optometrist that. Today I am heading to NH to see my wonderful friend and her border collies. I am looking forward to sitting on her porch patting her furbabies and then going to lunch.

Off to work for a couple of hours and I will hit the road. Have a good day.

Have fun with your friend and her pups:dogdance: dear Snowysmom:hug:. I would love to go with you. Healthy eye prayers. I would not want a procedure done on my eyes either.

I would also love to be able to help you dear PollyannaMom:hug: at the booksale. I have a pile of books I could donate. I hope the 📚 sale goes well. God willing, I look forward to being able to go to the library again.

Friday :grouphug:to all.

Good morning. 3 guesses what it's doing outside again, if you guessed rain, you'd be right. Again it's too wet to even think about mowing. Tomorrow is a 24% chance so maybe it can dry out enough. Then near 100% chance of rain on Sunday and Monday again

Summer got home from Philadelphia around dinnertime last night. She's supposed to stop by today to tell me about the trip. She said her hubby was her 'secretary' while they were there. Some of the places she had to inspect weren't in the best areas, so she was glad to have him with her.
Nothing new around here. Have a good day.

Good morning. It is cool right now with temps heading into the 70s again today. I had a nice time with my friend yesterday. Unfortunately the ride to NH was awful. There was an accident on 495 which caused about a half hour backup. I felt bad about the people in the accident but sometimes they just drive crazy. But I got there safely and had fun with the doggies and talking with my friend. We had lunch at a place that was right on Lake Winnipesaukee. Then she took me on around the lake. I love NH and would love to live there but need to stay near the kids. I am happy for her that she has a good life retired with her dogs and DH. The ride back was slow on 495 but at least it was moving. 93 was fine both ways. I really liked having the time to do this and it makes me really think about retiring next year. The foliage is just starting to show a little bit in NH. Today I am having lunch with Jeff before he heads to London for business.

Have a good Saturday.

Good morning. The sun is out, but the sky is full of big dark clouds. Only a chance of rain, and there's a slight breeze. I'm hoping by this afternoon it might dry out. Supposed to be 79 degrees.

Gracie and her date will by tonight before the homecoming dance. Summer finally found her a dress yesterday but had to pay more than she wanted, and it needed to be altered. The place said they could do it by this morning, so we'll see.

Have a nice day.

Weather is gorgeous Nice breeze and sunny, Grass dried out, all you hear is a symphony of mowers going. I did all of mine, it was longer than it's been all season, it looks nice now. I cut back the flowers on the Crepe Myrtle trees outside my bedroom window, they were so tall I was looking through them instead of over them.
