Lynn I am sure Gracie looked lovely in her prom dress. I hope she had a good time.

I am up early today. It is 3 years since Chris passed. I can't believe he has been away from me for 3 years. I had lunch yesterday with Jeff and we talked a bit. This morning Kenny is meeting me at a breakfast place before he goes to work. He is kind enough to take the time to do this when I know he has a busy schedule at work. I miss Chris so much and still find it hard. I try to get through the days. I sometimes get angry at him for not taking care of himself. But overall I am heartbroken, lonely, sad, and scared. I have tried so hard to move forward a bit but it is hard. I don't mean to bring things down but it is hard today.

Good morning. We're back to clouds and rain for the next 3 days. Then we'll see sun for the foreseeable future. I'm glad I got everything done yesterday. but I'm paying for it today. I'm stiff and sore, but I'll live, lol

@Snowysmom It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years since Chris passed. I can kind of relate as tomorrow would have been my 24'th anniversary with Don. It makes for a sad day, and doesn't help that I'll turn 70 on Tuesday. Summer wants to take me out to lunch and for a manicure and pedicure but I told her just lunch is fine. I do my own manicures and I've never had a pedicure and don't really want to.

Gracie looked pretty last night. I haven't seen her since she got her haircut, it's always been long and it was a surprise. I wasn't a fan of her dress, what there was of it, but I guess that's the style. She's lost so much weight she wants to show it. Wasn't a fan of the reddish eye shadow either but she was trying to match everything, lol.

Good morning. It is chilly here around 52. Temps heading towards 70 today. I got through yesterday but it was hard. I did go to Owen's soccer game. But it was lonely coming back to the condo myself. Today starts the busy week at work with close week starting tomorrow. It is always a bit stressful. I know I will not miss it once I decide to retire. I am sending in my Part B app today for Jan 1. I feel like I am making some progress towards my goal.

Good Monday Morning.

Like I mentioned last week, we haven't had rain in probably 38 days until last Thursday. It has not stopped raining since then . We might get a 2-3 hour break but then it starts back up. Temps are in the low 70's but I can't open the windows with all the rain.

The Kroger Wellness Expo that I was planning on going to Friday was cancelled . They ended up cancelling both days and donated the food and free things to the hurricane areas. We decided on Plan B which was to take Mia to the Children's Museum. We used to have a membership to the Museum Center when my kids were younger so I was excited to take her down there. She had a blast!!!! Big belly laughs when she tried some many of the exhibits . She had fun picking up the toy rocks and putting them in the wheelburrow, she was jumping on a rug that made animal pictures appear, and we couldn't get her out of the ball area. She liked putting the ball in the tube and watching in travel across the ceiling. Within 20 minutes of being there, Bailey texted her mom and asked if she could get them a membership for Xmas.

I worked this weekend and we were busy. I think that was my last day shift weekend, switching over to the nighshift position.

My sister had a party Saturday night and I was able to go to that. It was a neighborhood party held at the clubhouse. She hired a couple of musicians and they played for a few hours . After that we went back to her house and hung out. My other sisters and my brother all were there. It was fun hanging out with them but boy did I stay too late . I didn't leave her house until midnight, got home around 12:45 and had to get up at 5:30 for work. I was dragging!!!! I was in bed sleeping at 9:00 last night.

If any of you could spare a prayer, my best friend Cathy is having shoulder surgery at 9:15 this morning. She's my travel companion, and I'm hoping for a successful surgery and a smooth recovery.

Good morning. It is 52 here with temps heading into the upper 60s. Busy work day yesterday and more to come this week. This is a busier time for me than usual as I have more to do with one of my responsibilities than usual. I told my boss that I am trying my best to get this done right but no promises as it is so complicated and really out of my pay grade. But I will try. I walked yesterday and did some errands. Jeff has sent me pictures from London, one of Buckingham Palace at night and Paddington station minus Paddington the Bear, Tomorrow he has a day to himself to sight see and I asked for lots of pictures. I would love to go there some day.

Happy Tuesday Morning.

Wow, slow day yesterday.

Started raining as soon as I got home from work yesterday . I was hoping to be able to clean up the backyard but that didn't happen. I was able to clean things up around the house and got a couple loads of laundry done. The rain finally slowed down later so I took the garbage can to the curb. Went around and opened my windows finally.

Made dinner last night and made enough that I could eat in the car on the way to work tonight. Last week I went from one job to the next and didn't eat in between. By 8:00 I was struggling and I still had 2 hours to go . Won't be making that mistake again.
