Good Morning. It is raining here. We did have a thunderstorm rumble through. It looks like rain off and on today with thunderstorms. Nothing planned for today. Yesterday I did go look at a bookseller/cafe place nearby. It is like The Paper Store but a bit bigger with a cafe. I started my Christmas shopping. There was a Richard Scarry game based in his books that caught my eye. Jeff's kids love the off the beaten path games. In this one you gather things for your backpack as your go around the board. It will be great for Charlotte and the others will love to play. I bought a notepad with cardinals on it and a kitchen towel with birds on it. It will be nice as a kitchen decoration. I also got some chocolate as a treat. I tried to find the grocery stores 2 towns over but it is a longer ride than I want to do. I drove for about 20 minutes and then turned around. I also was not fond of the roads. Now I know I want to stay in the 2 towns next to me for shopping and takeout.

Have a good Sunday.

Good morning. It dumped down rain again last night, everything is soaked. It's steamy and muggy outside. Very cloudy now, looks like it's going to rain again any minute, but they say it's going to clear up and be in the low 80's. I hope so. Just being out in the humidity just now for 20 minutes gave me a headache.

I just went through the garden again (@Judique -no tomato worms, I checked carefully), and picked another 6 squash and a ton of leaf lettuce. I can't believe the lettuce is still doing so well with all the hot weather we've had. I brought 4 of the squash and a big bag of lettuce next door. We had some of the squash for dinner last night, and it was so tender and delicious. But we still have 3 left from yesterdays pick and 2 more from today, so I have plenty. There are a lot more growing out there. I see a couple of baby cucumbers finally starting to grow, so hopefully we'll have some of them to pick soon.

@Snowysmom With all this rain, you're definitely going to find out if the water problem has been solved or not. I hope you don't get any tornado's, stay safe!

Off to find something to defrost for dinner tonight, I'm thinking chicken breasts, but I have to see if anything else sparks a better idea.

Have a nice Sunday

Good morning all. Headed up to northern DE to return some items to Macys & WHBM. Pop into Cabela’s for another 120 qt cooler and possibly another pair of shorts for my husband. Then we need to stop for another 8 cases of beer to round out the bar inventory for next weekend. Oh- and husband needs a new tie. Then home to reorganize basement where all wedding items are & finish ironing tablecloths. Need to get box scrape on tractor and regrade driveway as well if we get around to it, had 20 ton of #57 delivered last week.
Some rain overnight, clouds now but rain showers coming back for most of day I think.
No clue what’s for dinner tonight!

Please stay safe and dry everyone!:grouphug:🙏extra for all of dear you! Quiet Sunday here. Grateful to God, that He made it possible for me to give dad money toward a Boost Membership through Ralph's for a year as part of dad's Father's Day gift. Dad did thank me for it. I just joined Boost for a new. This means a lot to me because it will make our getting cases of Aquafina and bulkier items like paper towels much easier over the next year by having them delivered directly to us! Usually, the kind Boost delivery person will also bring the cases of water inside and place them on a small table near our front door, as well which is an additional bonus!

I'm shortly going to watch Sunday worship which I always so enjoy doing. Dad will be headed out for morning 🛒We are expecting an Amazon package later.

Seeds Scattered and Sown is a hymn God just placed upon my heart after listening to today's sermon. I remember singing it with choir or during Holy Communion. How blessed each of us are to be trusted to scatter God's seeds of faith, love, and testimony in witness through our lives. My thanks, always, to each of dear you for always doing just that!!

Please stay warm and dry and have a good Sunday!🐥❤️

We are still at the beach and today we've gotten rain. Not until sometime after 9ish. I got to go out and sit watching the sunrise and the birds flying around looking for snacks. The girls father came yesterday so he took over kid detail a bit. They prefer the pools, and one is indoor (Hyatt) so that's what they wanted later.

I love relaxing at the beach but, no relaxing with a 6 and 7 year old. Still fun! Last night they wanted to go to the arcade. $20 later they each had a tiny toy prize so they were happy. First time in the arcade for me, maybe last time.

Noon time we walked along and had lunch. Better than yesterday as the kids actually ate their food.

Then back to the indoor pool for another session. Now it's nap time for me and they are entertaining themselves tearing the room apart.

Friday and Saturday were gorgeous days! Today was rainy but still fun overall. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice. I won't be rushing home, so we will pack and do pool for a bit. I was going to do another day, but hesitated when I saw the rain. Now I'll save it and maybe do another midweek trip before school starts. The weekend tends to be busy.

I may come home to dried out tomato plants. We will see if my DD is a gardener!

Glad to hear you did have some :sunny:Judique. Prayers for safe travels home, my friend.

Dad spoke with the Sheriff who left the vandalism report on my car. Office E was very nice and commiserated. As of now, there's nothing further he can do. He did say as schedules allow, they will try to patrol our street in the evening more often. Of course, should they ever locate the responsible person they will notify us. We tried and move on. As, I have said, I would appreciate prayers that God willing dad and I can somehow afford to move one day. Also prayers definitely for the person who did this as they may not be in the most positive of places in life including faith wise.

Wishing all of you a great rest of the afternoon.

Crazy night here. We lost power around 2:30, but it came back on after a half hour or so. I don't think I've ever seen this long a stretch of so much rain here!

Nothing big to do today, maybe a minor decluttering project.

DH is back in the office today, and DS is still asleep, so it's quiet right now.

Good morning. Another carbon copy of the last few days. Sunny, hot, 90, and chance of storms. At least we're saving water on watering the grass and garden. Picked some more squash this morning. I mowed the lawn last night after dinner so that's done and I don't have to do it in the heat. Nothing else going on around here.

Have a good day

Happy Monday!

I haven't been on here all weekend. Worked Friday morning and then Mia and I played in the pool in the afternoon. I worked day shift Saturday so that was uneventful. We had some bad weather come through on Saturday. Sunday morning the boys came over and Jacob and Mitchell moved a couch out of the basement and put it in the garage, already scheduled a garbage pickup for Friday for it. Then they moved the futon out of the spare bedroom to the downstairs. Evan was putting together a babybed while all this was going on so when he was done with that, we moved it into the spare bedroom. Now Mia has a decent place for her naps. After everyone left I parked myself on a loungechair out back for the afternoon.

Last night a co-worker sent me a text and a picture of a puppy that her neice rescued. Seems that there were 10 puppies born under someone's deck, the niece took 1 and there's still 9 left. I keep going back and forth if I should go get one. I don't need one but I wouldn't want to leave them there. I leave for vacation in 2 weeks so it's kind of bad timing.

For those of you who have cats, have you ever heard of putting tin foil on something that you don't want them to scratch?

QOTD: Whatever magazine I have nearby.

Off to a work meeting, have a great day!

Good morning to you all.
Lynn- good luck to Don at his Dr appointment today.
Not much to report, as I sit out here on porch it’s nice but hazy as we are getting some more Canada smoke, but it’s supposed to clear by Thursday.
Time to water all the plants & flowers on the porch. Have a good day!

Good morning, cloudy here, but no rain predicted today. I have 8:45 Dr appointment then we have cooking demo at library At 1. DSis comes today and I am looking forward to hearing about her “Roads Scholar“ trip to and around Glacier NP. She did tell me the air quality was bad, and she wore a mask most of the time in Canada.

You could see the haze here (Mass) yesterday afternoon. Even I've been coughing, and I'm usually less sensitive to that stuff than DH.

Good news yesterday - I harvested my first zucchini of the year! Trying those in a deck container was an experiment, so I was happy it worked.

Have a good Tuesday, everyone!
