Problems with Cirque site

I want to book tickets for Cirque in July but the website won't let me. It says that tickets can be purchased up to 6 months in advance but the latest date they offer is June 19th.

I know that from June 20th the show is blacked out but it does reopen in early July so I don't see the problem. In theory, they should be allowing purchases online up until early August.

I really would prefer to purchase online as I want to avoid a transatlantic phone call.

Any ideas or pearls of wisdom anybody?

Just keep checking the web page (the same thing happened to us when we went to see Mystere). Becuase they are having a dark period in June (June 20-July 5) and six months brings it to July 10, they probably just have not loaded the dates for July into the systsm yet.

You can also go to the "Contact Us" link on the web page when it pulls up click on "ask your question" on the ticketing link. The last time I wrote the responded the very next day...it's worth a try, they may be able to tell you when the dates will be opened :)

Thanks Libertybelle. I suppose I just need to practise patience! I counted the 6 month mark at mid August.

I've been checking for past couple of weeks but I'll keep going. I don't suppose I'll have too much of a probelm getting tickets anyway.

When the web site opens and you try to book your tickets and you ask for "best available" you will notice it gives you something like row J. If you call on the phone and ask you can get Row A (first row). I did that and have Row A this coming Saturday night. I have been nervous it will be too close. Maybe best available is approximately Row J.

Scott, I hear that the front row seats give an interesting and different perspective on the show.

I have been once before and sat in the front row of the second level, row AA, right where the parade at the start passes by. They were amazing seats.

I have sent an email with my ticket query so I'll se how it goes.

This is exactly what I did, and got Row A, seats 5,6, and 7, which the CM said are the front center seats. They were not listed on the website.

As for being too close, the CM said Row H would be ideal for him, but then agreed that if you're going to be up close, just go for the big experience of being right there in front of the performers so that you can see their expressions and feel the intensity of the show.

Can't wait!
