Belle is interesting - and if I were going to do a race, the 10K is a good distance to follow up with post Dopey - but I think I can pass on these. Thanks, Disney, for finally giving my wallet a break.

Love the themes, but was really hoping for Merida. Now I have to decide if I should do it all or not!! May do 5/10 in person and half virtual or something to that effect. I’m mostly glad we actually got the themes!!

As expected, the POT cutoff for the HM/Challenge is 2:15 (or equivalent). The race must have occurred between Jan 1, 2019 and Nov 1, 2022. Changes to your POT (or estimated finish for 5k/10k) must occur prior to November 1st, 2022.

As a tip, during registration, ignore the POT question because you can edit it up until November 1st.

This is exactly how I feel. Belle/Cindy/Moana have all been used in the past 2 years.

Springtime Surprise better be something I don't like so I don't need to beg for a weekend trip for those (even though the dates totally don't work with baseball season and it's like a week after we get back from Spring Break.)

I hope you get what you wish for - or more precisely don't like. Princess was kind of like that for me, but I knew that for the right theme I would do all sorts of scheduling gymnastics and convoluted rationalizations to make it work.

Out of all 4 princesses, only Jasmine is appealing to me as the others have all been used in the past 2 years. You'd think Disney would remember they have a dozen princesses in their lineup?

Well doesn't help that we're on vaca in Cali at this time so I need to be on by 6:30 am west coast time. Considering we go out Sat and will only be there 2 full days at that point I'm hoping I will keep to east coast time. Now to decide if it's worth bringing my laptop and not rely just on phones and ipad...

While I’m certainly a little sad that rD is reusing recent princesses, I’m excited about the themes and the way they’re focusing on sidekicks/friends, in addition to the princesses themselves.

We decided not to renew our APs this summer, so I had 95% decided to take a year off of runDisney. Was anxiously waiting to see what the themes/artwork are for Princess.
Cons for me are that 1) I don't have APs and would probably just make it a resort-only trip, 2) THE PRICE really seems to be creeping up 3) Moana AGAIN. Don't get me wrong, I like that movie, but soo many in a row. If Jasmine was anything but the 5k (which I wouldn't run) it would be much more enticing. 4) This doesn't work with my work schedule great. It's do-able but not great.
Pros are: 1) This artwork is amazing. If the medals or shirts are anything similar it would be my favorite shirts/medals 2) The experience last year was so good. I love a women's-focused race. 3) I'm probably in the minority but I'm a traditionalist I guess, I like Cinderella for the Challenge, getting back to the roots of the Glass Slipper Challenge.
Luckily we have time to mull it over... I might let fate decide and not jump in the queue immediately, see if anything is available later.

I have a conflicting trip already planned, so I know I can't do these races in person. But I LOVE the artwork and might just have to do the virtual 5K for Raja alone.

Re: different key art on virtual/in person page it’s more than likely one design will be for free shirt and the other the I did it/finisher paid shirts

Love the art style for the key art though as this weekend overlaps with Gasparilla it’s not OMG enough to shell out for the virtual or strategize how to do the 5K AND the challenge I’m in for Gaspirilla

I’m hoping to run the Princess Half and have a question about POT. I’ve read a few times to skip this and come back to it later during registration since it can be edited until November. So when I get to the POT question should I say that I’m going to run slower than 2:15 and change it later? Or that I’m going to run faster than 2:15 and enter some bogus information?
