I usually check things over and over again until Aaron thinks I'm crazy, but this time we were just over excited and thought we had the right week. Oh well, worse things have happened. I'm just glad I caught it!

CRISIS AVERTED!!! Okay, here's what happened. Our plans are to fly to Jacksonville on a Tuesday since it is easiest to get seats on a Tuesday. Saturday flights fill up really quickly. Tuesday flights we can do Space A travel and save a LOT of money! Here in GTMO the main airline flies out every Saturday and every other Tuesday. So I booked our vacation for a week without a Tuesday flight. I'm such a dork sometimes.

But it was no big deal! I called Disney this afternoon and changed everything over. We will be checking in on September 22nd, going to the Magic Kingdom on the 23rd, and checking out on the 24th. We are still staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. While I was on the phone with the guy I went ahead and requested a corner room in building 5. After we read a few books and stuff we thought this might be a good place to be. We'll see! I was really excited to possibly meet up with Charlefours but now that's not possible.

I also changed my dining reservations. We also figured that a later breakfast would be best for all of us anyway. So we'll have breakfast at the Crystal Palace at 9:15am on the 23rd and then lunch the same day at Cinderella's Royal Table at 12:55pm. I had asked if the lady would make sure that Ashlyn's birthday celebration was on there for our dining and I'm glad I did because for some reason it wasn't.

Speaking of celebrations, I was thinking of ordering a little something for Ashlyn from the Disney Florist but I've heard mixed reviews. Have any of you used this service? What did you think?

Glad you got it all straightened out. Must be a pain flying out of there. My cousin lives on an island off the coast of Alaska and she has the same issues. They never know if or when a plane will really fly.

You're going to be at disney at the same time as we are now! Haha well, barely. We get in on the 23rd at about 7 pm.

Your ADRs sound great...you're going to have a great day with those meals!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend so far! I just wanted to share the stuff I made for the security bake sale that was today! I made some cupcakes:

After the marshmallows ran out I started using chocolate Nestle Crunch type bunnies. I don't have any pics of those, though. Same thing, chocolate bunny.

What I was really excited about were the cake pops! I made bunnies:

Ooohhh, I love the bunny! (Veggie Tales, anyone?)

And.... chicks, man! (Yes, I'm a fan of The Soup, too!)

OH! I actually have a Disney-related update, too!!! Aaron decided that he would rather just stick with the Rainforest Cafe for dinner our first night at 5pm. Wait, maybe it's 5:30... I have it written down in my notebook at least. I wanted to try out some new stuff this trip, but we do have some new stuff (CP and POFQ) and some old favorites (CRT and RFC) so I think it's a good balance!

Awww, thanks! Cake pops are one of my favorite things to make.

RFC is one of our favorites. Ashlyn loves coloring on the kids menu and only pauses when the thunderstorms start. Oh, and to get a bite of food, of course.
