prayers and pd for a health concern

I posted before about a health problem. I'm having bad side and back pain. Was diagnosed with a UTI took meds didn't feel quite better and now pain is back.
I'm getting several types of ultrasounds tomorrow and i'm a nervous wreck. This has been going on for a month. I spend alot time on the internet looking up my symptoms and i'm convinced i have pancreatic cancer. I'm scared to death over this. I know it sounds crazy. I'm not one to worry over my health. I just haven't found anything else that matches all the symptoms. I have kids. So if you can say a prayer that it's not something serious like that.

I am sorry to hear you are in pain! I am sure you and your doctor will figure this out! I'll be thinking of you this week....

I am going through something similar....I don't seem to know enough to be concerned! I guess I have been passing blood for the last year but it can't be seen without testing. I haven't been in pain but I am just beginning to become uncomfortable. They have tested me and it is not an infection. I have a kidney/bladder CT scan in a couple of hours. Then more tests in a couple of weeks. I am wondering if this is an 'age-related thing'. I just turned 50....how old are you?

It's been a month now and I've had this pain in my left kidney. After several blood/urine tests - they don't know. Next will be an ultrasound of the kidney area that they are going to schedule. I'm freaking out! What the heck could it be???

pain started in left side more towards the front. It spread up left shoulder and chest. Then that stopped. It spreads to the center of my abdomen and around my back. Now my right side is starting to hurt in the same way also my lower back. Sometimes it's pain but in the abdomen it's more like pressure and bloated feeling.
Occasionally the pain in the left side is very bad. It comes in spasms or attacks and in between I'm usually just a little tender in the spots where it was hurting.
Dr ordered a left kidney ultrasound obgyn ordered an abdominal ultrasound

When are your ultrasounds coming up?

ultrasounds tomorrow at 5pm.
In between these attacks I feel find. I generally feel fine most of the day in the evening I either feel mild discomfort on up to full pain.

You know, my girlfriend has this. I dont know if you ever mentioned, but do you sometimes pee, blood, too?

She went through loads of tests, even checking for Kidney Cancer - turns out (and I wish I knew the name) it's basically like a Crohn's Disease type thing, of the kidneys (rather then intestines)

She's doing fine - she takes her med's (to lessen flare ups) Takes pain med's when the flare ups happen, but she's really perfectly fine.

Again, only positive thoughts. And Ill get that name of what it is she has.
