You guys look great !!

I'm going nuts because I can't find any costume I can fit in online, and they don't do Halloween in my country so I can't find anything in the stores (not that I would anyway). I wanted to be a zombie beauty queen, I have the tiara and the makeup for that, but no dress. And I can't see myself spending the whole evening in a dress anyway. I was thinking I could just throw on some leggings and a tunic, but so many others are going to be dressed up in real costumes and I'll look ridiculous!!!

:sad2:

Hey Marina,

It looks like the next couple of weeks it's going to be kinda cool at night (by florida standards at least) so you would probably be fine in a prom type dress. I assume you're not here in the U.S. but when you get here you could take a quick trip to your local goodwill store. I'm sure they'll have what you want- for CHEAP! ;)

This is my DD on Oct. 11 wearing Cinderella's work dress. She's in college majoring in Fashion Design and she made it herself.

I made the Green Army Man costume. MNSSHP was a blast and even better wearing a costume!

My wife found the Mrs/Mr Potato Head costume online. The parts are interchangeable! I'm not sure where though. I can ask her when we get back home. (She had to leave early and go back to work. We stayed!)

The Vinylmation is an awesome costume! Lots of great execution w/ that & the Toy Story & "work" Cinderella :thumbsup2

Just wanted to chime in that if you need a cheap & simple pair of flat shoes, Walmart has them for $5. I bought a plain white pair to be spraypainted for my costume

I bought a pair, but I'm going to leave them white.

I will be Wendy, DH will be Peter Pan, and our 4 year old will be Tinkerbelle.

DS is going as Woody, the girls and I are going as "Bat Girls" from BatMan -- and DH is going as Lotso, we have made his costume and he is so excited! Face makeup, hairspray, etc. ;)

Ok I have to make an amendment to what i was going to wear on the 29th. I will no longer be "wearing" a Twister dress, it will be a sash, like home coming queen and it will have MS TWISTER on the front. The dress was going to be too hot. Oh, and my TOT bag wil glow in the dark, if I can just find my spinner!!

DH and I at this year's party on Oct 12th

You have very good taste in costumes, ma'am. :D

My father dressed up as Walt Disney and the rest of us (me, DH, mom, Dsis, DBIL, Dcousin and other Dsis) went as mousketeers.

The cast members went absolutely gaga over my dad. It was hilarious.

There's a featured video on Disney Parks Blog called "Halloween Costumes At Disney Parks" It is too cute! and great for ideas too.

I was a nerdy version of a bird watcher. I got tons of compliments on my costume. I bought everything at the thrift store, so it was very budget-friendly. :) Everyone thought the bird on my shoulder was real. I called him Jay...Blue Jay. LOL!

For those of you in short sleeves and shorts, or there abouts, were you cold by the end of the evening? We will be there this weekend.:thumbsup2

I don't know the forecast for this weekend, but it was HOT last night. We took jackets, but they were just extra baggage in the stoller. I wish I had left them at home. I wore a light weight short sleeve dress, black pants underneath, and crocs (got several compliments on my yellow Mickey Crocs that I had tied red polka dotted ribbon onto to make bows). I was drenched in sweat. My girls were much more comfortable in their skimpy costumes-Jasmine and Tink. And we didn't leave the park until 12:30 am.

We were there Friday night and it was warm also. We were Woody, Jessie and Buzz (will post photos later). I think the weather is supposed to ne warm for the next few nights.
