Post Christmas Discounts - Where and What

I agree about no good sales and only 50% off. I did buy some ornaments from Target for my kids to decorate for next year. (8 in a pack .50/each) And some stocking stuffers. I usually try to buy 1 or 2 stocking stuffers every month. Today I purchased a 4 packs of gel pens (red, green, silver, and gold) at Target .50/each. At Walmart I purchased memo paper cubes (winter theme, snowman and penguins .47/each), rubber band ball (.50), 4 pack of bath fizzies (.50), kaleidoscope (.97), and a floating pen desk set ($2.50). I keep it all divided up in paper lunch bags with the name written on it and in a rubbermaid tub.

I bought a few board games at Walmart that were half off. I also ordered some t-shirts from the Disney Store that were 6.80 after a 15% discount and free shipping. I ordered some clothes from Victoria's Secret that were on clearance.

Is there still a discount? I have the disney visa too.

I went to Kohl's on December 23, and they had already marked down their Christmas stuff to 70% off. I bought some Christmas place mats and serving dishes.

I waited until December 27 to go to Walmart. (I hate that place!) I bought a four fleece throw blankets for $2.50 each. (We use those for our dogs.) I stocked up on Better Homes and Gardens wax cubes for my Scentsy warmer. They were $1.00 a pack. (I'm hoping they go to $0.50 tomorrow!) I also bought a few bags of candy, but I'm kicking myself for not buying the Hershey Kisses. I could have used the red and silver ones for my students' Valentine's Day goody bags. Oh well!

Today was my best day of all, though. I found lots of Fiesta Christmas plates, bowls, and serving dishes for 70% off plus $10 off of every $50 at Belk. I loaded up on those!

I've gone to 3 different Targets and they all had either nothing left, open and broken things or the employees had already packed up the Christmas stuff in boxes. Oh well. They didn't order much this year and most of it seemed to be gone a week before Christmas. It's ok since most of the stuff this year looked ugly

We hit Casual Male xl and Destination XL (I think is what it was called, same company) online; they had 50-75% clearance plus a 25% discount w/code on sale/clearance items.


JCPennys had an awesome clearance going too. For $75, I'm getting $350 in clothes for me, shipped to home. Another $90 for DH and DD2, worth $200.

I hit our local dollar store; they had Christmas stuff ranging from .13-1.00. I got 10 rolls of wrapping paper @.50 each--not as good as the year I scored 50 rolls @.25 each, but still, most of the paper was Disney or Rudolph themed, so woot!

Walmart had some lights @50% off, but were mostly cleared out by the time I got there. DD2 scored, spent about $25 on $70 worth of stuff.

DH went to Academy Sports, and got the gun he wanted on clearance, like 30% off.
