Still no call for me either march 5th check in

Well those that cant wait anymore after monday need to call them bypassing the TA.

I think as it gets down to the last few guests they may have to be agressive calling Disney. I mean disney has called guests on dates past some of the guests that are still waiting. At some point I would bypass my TA and go strait to them. That is just me because I am a go getter and not a wait on the sidelines type. I know andre, but at the beginning it was about that they had so many to call they had to get a flow and a system in place. But still there has been no logic to there calling plan.

My idea, wait til the weekend is over, no call? Start calling them Monday morning. Just how Id handle it.

you never know what they method is or how many people are calling... what if they gave caller 1 last names A-C, caller 2 D-F or maybe caller 1 has a percentage of dates starting with Feb. 17 and on. My theory was blown on Sunday when a March 5 and Feb. 18 person were called so..

Those that have March 3-4 checkins I would love it if you could ask which resorts are available.. I know they have been different for different date sets.

I am beginning to wonder that as well! But I suppose we represent only like .2% of the people that are getting calls...

I called last week as well - 2 different times and both CMs had no idea what I was talking about. The second one had me on the phone forever saying "let me check one more place" and at the end told me that there was no interior work being done at POR while I was there, only some outdoor work that would be during the day. But she could move me to POFQ if I'd prefer. And didn't know what a royal room was at all, but said if I had one booked and it wasn't available when I got there, the resort would find me another room for sure. Um no, not waiting until then

I don't have a TA, so I can only deal with Disney directly. At this point, I'm trying to just be patient. If I don't hear by the end of the week, then I'll have to try calling the POR resort number again and push to get a manager who can email the team for some kind of update.

Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!

Hey I defend that! Yes I am one of them males. But We were up in DC this past summer and when I went to get off the metro rail, rude you know what people pushed to get on as I had already gotten off, and my fiance and the little one had gotten pushed back on to the metro. I had a moment I wanted to break the train to get back on to them or them off. I had all the money and phones on me. I think that made us to never want to go back to DC. On top of it all no one apologized to them. But as I am smart and fast on my thinking, I placed calls to metro police, and to the next stop and had them on the look out for my family. So some meltdowns are allowed lol.

I think in that situation, meltdowns would be allowed! Definitely quick thinking, glad it all worked out!

So our reservations are now for the Polynesian now I have to learn all about the POLY since all of my research up until now has been for POR so off to the POLY boards I go...

I've enjoyed all the drama with the upgrades. It's been very entertaining.

I'm also wondering how empty the resort will be when we're there Feb 18-22? Is anyone else going to be there those dates?

The availability must depend on your actual dates...it seemed as if she was reading through the list of availability in the reservation system...not a predetermined listing.

Could it be that they are calling in the order that the resovations were made? For example I know that Venomhatch booked his trip quite a long time ago and he was one of the first ones to get an upgrade. Sure he called and rattled a few cages but maybe it worked for him becuse the call center CM saw his name near the top of the list.

yeah I didnt think of that. I started my countdown right when I made reservations. I believe that was around 260 or 270 days out.

We got our phone call! To the CMs reading this thank you! We are grateful. We got upgraded to GF Lagoon view. We originally had a GV. They said they were going in according to check in dates and for everyone to be patient that they still had a ways to go with their calls but they will get to everyone as soon as they could. I told her I had been expecting the call since Wednesday and she said that she was sorry for the wait but they had a lot of names to go through. She said they are calling about 100 per day... I think that is what she said...

They asked what resort I would like and I asked for the GF and they had availability. They said they are going by real time availability not a preset list of rooms that were set aside and most resorts were available.

She also mentioned that few people were taken by surprised and had already known because of this board. Oh and my dates are March 2 (3)-8
