yeah I didnt think of that. I started my countdown right when I made reservations. I believe that was around 260 or 270 days out.

Maybe...we booked in early August, so it was about 214 days out (I used a date counter, I'm not that quick! ). I guess about 2 months difference?

We got our phone call! To the CMs reading this thank you! We are grateful. We got upgraded to GF Lagoon view. We originally had a GV. They said they were going in according to check in dates and for everyone to be patient that they still had a ways to go with their calls but they will get to everyone as soon as they could. I told her I had been expecting the call since Wednesday and she said that she was sorry for the wait but they had a lot of names to go through. She said they are calling about 100 per day... I think that is what she said...

They asked what resort I would like and I asked for the GF and they had availability. They said they are going by real time availability not a preset list of rooms that were set aside and most resorts were available.

She also mentioned that few people were taken by surprised and had already known because of this board.

WOO HOO!!! Congrats on getting what you want! GF Lagoon view, very nice! And thanks for asking how they're making the phone calls My hope has been renewed that my time will come soon!

I had garden view booked and my TA said they only gave garden view as an option for me. Not complaining at all. I'd stay in the mop room at the Ploy

We are staying in a Royal Room in May... i'm guessing rooms will be completed by then but.... I'd love an upgrade to the Poly - We really wanted to stay there but couldn't swing the extra costs.... Wishful thinking i guess!

I have a 5 year old, so just looking for a room as close to the bus stop as possible, or just whatever the best place would be for us. Any suggestions? I will have a stroller, but I wouldn't mind not being on a ground floor, stroller is not very heavy and I can easily carry it up some stairs. (we were at pop and used the elevator last time) it would have been impossible to carry it up to our room on the top floor, but stairs at POR look relatively minimal from the picture i saw.
Any suggestions would be appreciated,

I would request Oak Manor, close location to bus stop. The bus stop is behind Magnolia Terrace. There is a resort map on page 1. Oak Manor is a great location.
The buildings have an elevator in the Mansion section.

This time next Tues we'll be checked in and tucked into our beds at WL But will have to get our POR fix in so we're planning a DTD day, will catch MK bus to POR for our fav lunch- the Make your Own Pasta, yum. Then an after lunch walk about, and hop the boat to DTD.

Do you mean POFQ (French Quarter)? If you do, then don't worry as all of the rooms have been refurbished to have queen beds already.

This is the Port Orleans Riverside thread though, just wanting to check what you have booked...

I would be very surprised if you did not get the call today. 2 of us with March 3 checkin dates got the call yesterday so any time now!
