So excited for all of you receiving upgrade calls! Amazing. We are making our first trip with children soon. Having been trying to get them there for years. They are already 9 and 11! But from Minnesota can get quite expensive! Looking forward to POR. Did not book a Royal Room. Now I am wishing we had. A monorail hotel would be a dream! TBH, in my opinion I think that is a perfect age! We wanted to go for so long and finally went last year when my daughter was 10 and I am glad we left it till she was older - the days are so long and the excitement levels so high, she was able to deal with it much better. By the end of each day all we saw were exhausted little ones either sleeping, crying, pitching a fit or all 3

On this trip our kids are 14 and 12 (DD turns 15 while we are there). DD says she wants to stay at MK until 2am on her birthday. If we wind up doing that DW and I will be the ones sleeping, crying or pitching a fit -or all 3.

So true! We went last year for the first time as a family (kids were 9, 8, 5 at the time, the youngest was just over 48" so he could ride EVERYTHING). We didn't have any of that going on (well, except from my husband's mini meltdown at the Contemporary trying to get back on the monorail).

Yay! I'm so happy to hear you got a call. I was starting to fear that us early March arrivals weren't going to get them for weeks (like they were waiting for construction updates closer to our time or something). This gives me renewed hope (and of course, means I'll continue to carry my phone with me everywhere I go)
