Sneaky sneaky... I hope you know the right lingo to use.

Everyone else: do you know what is the furthermost day out you get your Disney packet/envelope?

I always start the lookout at the 45 day mark. I think last year I got mine between 30 and 40 days out, but that's a guesstimation. Based on your 44 days to Disney, I would expect soon. 57 days for us, so we're not far behind!

Did they say what deluxes were available to you? Congrats! Yea they are still making calls.

They asked me what I wanted. I was so happy to get the call I just said, BC and she told me they could do it. I didn't push for a specific view, because I honestly didn't care. I was just amazed I was going to get the BC for the cost of POR.

I'm such a Disney nerd, I'm now watching the planning DVD. :woohoo:

Travel agent lingo?? Nope, I'd be a dead giveaway :rotfl: I *am* thinking of calling (as myself) though & just "casually" asking if they have an idea of what's going on. I'm sure they won't give me any information, and will probably just say that they will contact the TA, but might be enough to stir the pot. :confused3

Ohh ok yeah I thought anyday now. Ohh I feel like I am being chased down there. lol.

Well I would do that, even as yourself I mean. Tell them as reservations, your like to leave an email for the team. Tell them your TA is getting nervous or something, because everyone else that you have spoken to that has TAs for that date has gotten their call and your getting worried or something. They will email them for you and perhaps get the ball rolling on it for you.

Nope, no call and I am at home almost 24 hours a day so it is torturing me. March 3 checkin date too...

Darn, maybe you should take a page from stinkerbellsmommy's book. Call them!

*sigh* I just got off the phone with them, and they weren't too helpful. To give him credit though, he was nice. Of course, he didn't know anything was wrong with the RGRs. "If the rooms weren't going to be ready in time, they wouldn't have allowed you to book it. That's not something Disney does". :sad2:

I said that I was told that the rooms were experiencing construction delays, and that we *should* be hearing back from someone regarding resort changes (I didn't use "upgrade" because I didn't want to look like I was fishing). He then told me (as I suspected) that since we used a TA, he wouldn't be able to tell me anything else (not like he knew anything else anyways), transfer me to someone who could help, or contact someone on my behalf because the agency holds my reservation. :confused3. Any ideas on what my next steps should be, besides waiting ever so patiently (which in case you can't tell, I totally am doing )?

I just got my call! We were upgraded to the Beach Club, standard view. I was asked if there were any other resorts I was interested in, and got what I asked for. The wait is finally over!

Good Luck to everyone!

*and the crowds go crazy*

:cheer2: :cheer2: woot woot :cheer2: :cheer2:

Awesome news! So glad you got what you wanted!

So true! We went last year for the first time as a family (kids were 9, 8, 5 at the time, the youngest was just over 48" so he could ride EVERYTHING). We didn't have any of that going on (well, except from my husband's mini meltdown at the Contemporary trying to get back on the monorail:rotfl:).

Aren't hubby-meltdowns hilarious when you look back at them

So we're waiting for pmaurer74, katdemar & cassiopia419 correct?

Cheer squad ready and waiting for those calls! :yay:

Oooh just seen on another thread that stinkerbellsmommy is still waiting too*fingers crossed*

And, me!!!

p.s. Disney's calling more than one person per day, right :confused3 'Cause that would just be really mean of them :rotfl2:

Hey I defend that! Yes I am one of them males. But We were up in DC this past summer and when I went to get off the metro rail, rude you know what people pushed to get on as I had already gotten off, and my fiance and the little one had gotten pushed back on to the metro. I had a moment I wanted to break the train to get back on to them or them off. I had all the money and phones on me. I think that made us to never want to go back to DC. On top of it all no one apologized to them. But as I am smart and fast on my thinking, I placed calls to metro police, and to the next stop and had them on the look out for my family. So some meltdowns are allowed lol.

WOW! That would be so frightening for both you and your family! :scared1: Very smart quick thinking on your part!

I think as it gets down to the last few guests they may have to be agressive calling Disney. I mean disney has called guests on dates past some of the guests that are still waiting. At some point I would bypass my TA and go strait to them. That is just me because I am a go getter and not a wait on the sidelines type. I know andre, but at the beginning it was about that they had so many to call they had to get a flow and a system in place. But still there has been no logic to there calling plan.

My idea, wait til the weekend is over, no call? Start calling them Monday morning. Just how Id handle it.

Yeah I know thank you, it was frightening, very much. I didnt want to hop on the next train and them be coming back, so Metro police just got them on the next train back and we were ready to leave DC.
