AKL room requests

We would like to spend a night at AKL and even though room requests are not guaranteed can anyone recommend which room/floor/building to stay in to hopefully view the animals. We have a 1 BR reservation at Jambo Savanna View right now but wondering which had the better chance or if there is no difference. Kids are 6 and 8 and the first time to Disney. I chose Jambo for the convenience of Quick Serve. Hopefully I can get ideas as to whether this was the right choice. Thank You

There should be animals out on the savanna that you can see with a savanna view. There are various antelopes, zebra, giraffes, wildebeest, cattle on the savannas. Similar to the savanna section on the safari ride. There’s flamingos over by the pool at Jambo.
