I know several of us were bummed that POR sold out so fast- Check again- I just called to ask a question about payment and just happened to ask if it was available and it is!!!! She said they opened up a few more rooms!!

CBR just looks way too big for my taste and I'm really not thrilled about double beds!! Hopefully my DH doesnt' kill me, bc I think he was digging that Pirate Play area... :)

Keep trying.... I just casually asked and she said there was some more rooms opened!! YAY!!!!

I am just hoping DH doesn't care too much. CBR just looked wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too big to me.

I can get my dates for Pop but wanted to try POR but its not available for my dates. I'm going to book tonight direct with disney - if I do and POR becomes available at a later date is it easy to change or are there huge charges to do so?

I've been calling 407 939 2273

It goes to a switch board operater, sometimes they say "Disney", sometimes they just say "Hello", sometimes they say " this is XXX"

Ask for Resort Reservations, and they will transfer you.

I've been calling this number, and when I call, I never hold for more than just a few mins.

I don't see anything online for our dates- do you think I have a better chance calling? Ive called at least once a day since it was announced haha!

I've called almost daily looking for availability at POR for 10/19 - 10/27. Yesterday when I called the CM said they see the same availability as there is online. She may have just not wanted me to keep calling back!

They have definitely opened up more rooms at Riverside. I just checked my dates just for fun (I am already booked there) for 11/6-11/12 and there are rooms available from GV and all levels of Royal Rooms.. just no standard at the moment but when I checked a few days ago, there were NO regular rooms available with the discount!

I am kind of glad that I did not get a discount since I have been booked since February, I would have had to pay the ticket increase and it would have increased our package by $50. I did not want to stay anywhere else this trip because of the Royal Room so moving to CBR or CSR was not an option for us so I am glad that I didn't mess around and change anything.

Maybe my dates are just during a super busy time because of Halloween? Idk?! We are looking for oct 26- nov 3

I do see a standard room from oct 26-oct 1 *just* popped up if anyone is looking for those dates!

I don't think that is a super busy time at all, so don't worry. Did you get anything at all for your dates?

My sister will be on her Disneymoon 10/27-11/3 and she got a PIN for free dining a while ago and those dates were included in the recent discounts. It is usually projected to be crowded during the dates that they don't include in the discounts, mostly Free Dining- LIKE MINE! LOL

There is no charge to change resorts- as long as its 45 days before you go... I can make any changes as long as its before Oct 19th... Definitely keep checking- I was shocked. :)

Can I ask you just one other question please lol!

If I see something I want online can I just book it in addition to my existing booking and then phone up (or online if I can) and cancel the original package?

We are in UK so time differences can be a pain for when phone lines are open. If I see a POR room I'd rather just snap it up incase I lost it while waiting for a CM however don't want to end up with two reservations and two deposits paid with one lost.

Thanks for ur thoughts :)

Sure can... lots of people did during that crazy busy period of a few days ago! I believe you can get the deposit of one transferred to the other if you want, or you can get a refund* (have just done this myself :) ).

*So long as you are more than 45 days out.

That's fab :) we are 127 days out so lots of time! Thanks x

Yes, you can do that.. Something funny happened with my reservation anyways and we ended up having two somehow.. One for CBR and one for POP... I canceled the POP one....

Now I am having second thoughts about moving to POR, even though that is what my heart was set on. I showed DH a you tube of CBR this past weekend, before I knew POR opened up some more and he really loved it.. Showed him POR video last night and he just thinks that CBR is more "us" and thinks the kids would like it better bc of the pirate ship.. AHHH- This is so hard.

I want him to be happy so he will want to go back again, LOL..

Any thoughts on what is better for a young family with 2 small kids??
