How's everyone doing?? Its been a tough weekend here, first off my cable went out on friday and i had to wait until sunday for the repair man. When i called to request repair, i was told first the next appt was not until sunday, meanwhile its friday early afternoon. The lady says only cable emergencys get same day repair service. I started to wonder what exactly is a cable emergency?? Can you see it, a huge cable truck lights and sirens speeding down the road, with the driver screaming over the p.a. system " pull to the right, cable emergency"??

Al right i can play this game too, so i told her it was an emergency, she said "how's that sir"?? I said the cable box is on fire!! She then told me to call the fire dept, i told her i was the fire dept off duty of course. After i explained to the poor terrifed phone lady, it was a joke, i went into buisness management 101 mode. So what constitues a cable emergency, i wondered?? So i told her actually for some reason i was getting all 950 channels for free. I said it was great, that i did not have to pay for it either. I figured by the time i finished that sentence the cable repair guy would be pulling up in front of my house, right. She would not bite. So today the cable guy came and fixed my cable, for some reason water had gotten into the outside line and shorted only my house out. So i now have cable back.

I figured my cable going out on friday was the worst of my problems, sadly i was wrong. I was at work saturday and the 5-5-5-5 signal went off in the fire house over the FDNY radio. A 5-5-5-5 signal is a line of duty death. Someone from the FDNY gave his life while on duty. Sadly actually 2 FDNY men gave thier life at a building at ground zero, as if that place did not al ready take enough FDNY personal from us on sept 11. Two more guys died thier saturday fighting a blaze at a building deemed condemed from the damage it took from the trade center collapse. One of them was 23 and the other 53. I knew the older guy a little bit, but not that well. ALright i am gonna go hit the bed, i'm beat, but i'm gonna hit the bed watching my cable.

Can you believe the weather!?? Its supposed to be a high of 67 today! And we are scheduled to go swimming with the summer camp! Only 10 more days of work!

Cable Emergency? I agree with you - i would have thought all 950 channels for free would have had them on my door stop with attack dogs and pepper spray too!!! One of my favorite Seinfelds is the one with Kramer and the Cable Guy...lol!

Right now I am so peeved. The kind of peeved where you have to make yourself not think about it or else you'll just go nuts.

Yesterday we bought a new dishwasher. Ran it last night. Water flooded my pantry. For real. So peeved. Hours after we got it. I just want to buy something NEW and not have it break or be broken. So after it is fixed, I will have a NEW repaired dishwasher. Yay.

August 1st at the store that arent even being offered at WDW. Its JUST a thought.... but hell, Im going to Disney twice a year now, buying AP's....why the heck, not??? And then Ill bring you guys, too!

OH - and a little cool side note....they of course have CM's with lanyards...and these "Doorway to Dreams" pins...3 kinds, one light up, one button style and one tradeable....well the CM after I made my appointment and talked Disney with her awhile - gives me a handfull of the tradeable ones! I about fainted. And I looked her dead in the eye with my mouth dropped - Thank you SO MUCH!

OH - and her CM nametag said ELWOOD, IL.

COOL! When we were there last weekend....we didn't even stop there...my mom & dad were with us...it was crowded....and I know there's no way Mike would DVC.

That's cool! about the pins....I've got to find a way to get Casey's pins that she would want to trade off her board to bring them with us...so I basically gotta guess!

Anyways what I'm getting at is that if you did a couple layouts like that in like a WDW theme (maybe one page for each park) and list it on EBAY, with the right KEYWORD title, I bet you could make some excellent money!!

hmm, that's not a bad idea.....I could almost make MY page and then make a second one to sell????? hmmmmmm

DMM, I feel ya. I am now the only SAHM in Jul's class. For real. There is a dad but he is kinda weird. Anyway, I feel like I have not used my brain in forever!! Sometimes I think I forgot how. But staying home is the best.

I like the clinique but I feel like I want to branch out. I think I might order that Bobbi Brown sampler set. I just love makeup. Lipstick can change your life.

I hear that! Now that they're in 2nd & 8th grade I am most definetely one of the only SAHM's....we have one dad too...My friend John - quite honestly, I think he's a better SAHM than me. He's AWESOME with his girls! I've even got him being the PTO treasurer this year.

So Lori and I talked this morning and we both realized that we are SO behind with our plans for the trip. I am feeling VERY stressed out. The sucky thing is, I am totally not motivated to do anything today. Go figure.

Hello everyone busy morning we had here! We woke up to no power, no phone, nothing! Blahhh! there wasn't even a storm!!! crazy! But it was up within an hour, which was great! Kids and I headed over to the open house of the new dance studio in town and it's soo close to us and they take Autumn & Gabriel in the same class!! The enxt class starts next month, and I think that's cutting it too close, we we'll probably do the one after that. Gabriel was dancing sooo cute and Autumn was shaking her little butt! I was laughing soo hard! I wish Sal could have been there! He just left after lunch and he was laughing when I had the kids dance for him again! It was too cute!

Jen, that would drive me nuts!!! I hope that wherever you bought the washer from is paying for the repairs!!!
