PJ-I am so sorry about the kitten. I teared up to hear that story. So sad!

Chris- great idea for the HSM2 party! We watched most of it in the hotel last night. We got in from dinner a few minutes into it, but Sarah liked it. (I went outside for a little while around the campfire) What I saw of it, I liked. and JEn, yes, that's what I thought about HSM1, am I a big dork for actually liking this movie so much???

Tia- Ok, here is the answer to the above question. I am a big dork that wears a non-designer fanny pack. So, when you are hanging out with me, you will look oh so cool in your designer one.....

Lori- sorry you caught your kids colds.

Timmy-I was going to text you another margarita picture! We went to the "margarita grill" last night for dinner! Funny!

Tink-did you save that money on a package or a room only? I had the TA look for some dates for the GF for AP room only, but there was no availability.... is there another code?

YES she is a _______. I have met her IRL. Her DH in that picture is a freak.

She moves to FL without doing enough research on where she lives, then moves back to Chicago because she hates living in FL. Hell, I wouldn't live where she lived either. All white trailer trash. But, she would do anything to live near Disney!
Now, she bashes FL living every chance she gets!

I didnt move to do anything to live near Disney - I got transferred in a MONTH, either that or lose my IT position, not lots-o-time to look...... I'd still be there if I'd do anything to move near Disney.

And quite frankly - I have to the right to bash Florida living every chance I get. Its sucks. I wouldnt live there again, if you paid me. White Trash? Yes - the entire state is.

And WHAT is this fixation with my husband?!?!? Good lord.... you'd think these people have never seen a blue collar guy before. A freak? What??? And the thing is, I aint seeing ANY of their pics, let alone their husbands. Odd.

And I love, love, love these (and I wanna use a P word) who dont identify themselves. Gimme a freaking break.

Wow - you guys talked a lot today. I love it when I can come back and have something to read.

Today I had a family session I think went pretty well. I am just now downloading the pictures and probably won't get to work on them until tomorrow oe the next day though.

I then had a baby shower to go to. It was fun but I still feel awful and it is hard to sit around, make small talk and ooh and aagghh over baby things when you feel like your head is going to fall right off your head !

I did get a call today that a spot has opened for Ella in the dance school we have been waiting for They said they can enroll her even though she won't be 3 until next month !! I am sooooo excited ! I took dance for many many years and only stopped due to injuries ! So off we went tonight to buy her ballet and tap shoes plus her leotards. She starts Tuesday at 10 in the morning

I am also on call for a friend who's dog is pregnant and I have promised all along to come take pictures when the puppies are born. She of course just called and says she thinks she is just starting labor - but can't be sure just yet. Why, oh why did I voluteer - can't she just wait until I feel better and have had a full night's rest ?

Morning everyone I'm exhausted today, but we're off to an auction! Sal has his eye on a Vintage pinball machine for the basement that we saw in the brochure And I have my eye on a vintage sewing chest filled with all kinds of buttons and notions! So we'll see!

Lori, we had a meeting with the photographer yesterday that will be doing my maternity shots, and when I asked he if she had done anything like what i'm looking for, she showed me only ONE picture....grrrr...i'm not sure I'm thrilled with that and I asked for more, but they she told me to bring in what I had in mind and they would be able to do that??? It's a well known studio in the area and conveniently about 2 minutes from my house! They are already giving us a seating after office hours b/c they close so darn early...Please assure me it's possible that the pictures will come out normal if I just show her what i want????

They will then take 8 weeks to get back after we take them and our date is in later September! haah, so by the time I can show you guys, my son will already be born and I will have to take him in to get some shots done

OHHHH and get this! They gave us the price list and I SWEAR i fainted right there! Next thing I remember we were in the car!!! But Sal says I was fine and smiled and then we left!! For 1 8x10 or smaller photo it is $275.00 we are definately lookin gat purchasing about 3 or 4 b/c of the different poses I had in mind and the total for that beauty???? (remember they have to be 8x10 or smaller) 643.00 maybe I should just go to JCPEnny! hahahah! But Sal wanted a wall portrait, like our wedding photo and that one is 24x30 which would make a grand total of ONE photo for 803.00!!!! soo needless to say we are going to narrow it down to 2 8 x 10s! b/c I really want to get these photos done and I've been dying for a nice shot of everyone So we're doing it !

oh and the sitting fee is 100.00 I think I need to become a photgrapher

Let's see the HSM2 party was fun. The girls were so cute! We bought Grace the soundtrack the day it came out, so she already knew all the words...when Troy & Gabriella finally actually kiss...they all started screaming & hooting & hollering! it was funnier then heck.

Mich - isn't there a way youcould see some proofs before 8 weeks? What if you don't like them????? How on earth can you get them redone??? Hell for those prices, it would be cheaper for you to find Lori a ding fare and FLY her & the kids up here for a weekend!!!!

Cat - ok, now I didn't join that "board" because you told me not to get involved...but c'mon how on earth can they bash you irl if they've never met you????? You know my friends always tell me they know when they're in trouble I become big ole mamma bear and fiercely protect them....& I can tell the claws are coming out.....so I'm not even going to go read that crap anymore.

Yea, sometimes the budget board can be a little flippy...I like going there for tips & ideas..sometimes...but there's a difference between frugal & cheap. Sometimes they don't know that difference.

Pics are so expensive. The big one I have of jul was about $475 I think. That was 2 years ago. It is a good size. Remember you have to pay for framing too, if you want that. Lemme see if I have it so I can show you the size I paid that for...

You know I've always wanted to do a family portrait. We haven't done one since Casey was little. Why? Well, I have this hang up with a "family" portrait since Patrick can't be here for it. Isn't that weird? It's so not fair to Grace...arghhhhhhh I hate when I psychoanalyze myself.

I totally missed your SAHM post - Rebecca, I stayed totally home 24/7 with Joey and was divorced by the time Danny was 6 months...and at that time my mom had JUST gotten laid off from her company....so I worked double shifts (11 - 3 then back again from 5 until close) seriously every single day - cuz I waitressed... and you dont make THAT much, and I moved in with my mom, and she was just laid off. So she watched the boys. And because she was watching the boys, and I made enough to make ends meet - she couldnt interview and find another job as quick.

I completely and totally know everything about Joey's Childhood...everything. I totally and completly MISSED everything with Danny. I dont really even know how old he was when he got potty trained, I didnt even know my mom was doing it with him, and one day I came home and My mom exclaimed "He went potty like a big boy ALLL day today, with Danny grinning proudly. I would come home and he would know new things (My mom had a magnet of the Beatles....I came home and she was all excited, and said "C'mere" to me.... I go in the kitchen, and she points to the magnet, and each Beatle one, by one and Baby Danny just learning to talk, in that cute, just-talking baby voice "Ringo, Paul, John, George" Makes me tear up just thinking about it.

My whole point is this - you may make less money, you might even struggle but having had the opportunity to do both, staying home is positively amazing.... I totally missed out on Danny, BIG time - and it makes me sad whenever I think about it (tearing, lots now.... )

It is THE best thing in the world. Everyone says it - but Rebecca they grow up toooooo quick. And being home, you wont miss out on anything.

It was really not much of anything - 2 mock AK suites that look like the actual DVC suites there.... it was a time share storefront, and if it was anything other then DISNEY, I wouldnt be discussing it...KWIM?

For someone who ISNT A Disney freak - they wouldnt be impressed, but I can tell you this much. It inspired me to make an appointment for Monday to discuss DVC with them....and Jim agreed to go! I might DVC!!! They have specials through August 1st at the store that arent even being offered at WDW. Its JUST a thought.... but hell, Im going to Disney twice a year now, buying AP's....why the heck, not??? And then Ill bring you guys, too!

OH - and a little cool side note....they of course have CM's with lanyards...and these "Doorway to Dreams" pins...3 kinds, one light up, one button style and one tradeable....well the CM after I made my appointment and talked Disney with her awhile - gives me a handfull of the tradeable ones! I about fainted. And I looked her dead in the eye with my mouth dropped - Thank you SO MUCH!

OH - and her CM nametag said ELWOOD, IL.

I really got turned onto the Mineral Makeup craze when someone on the DIS posted about http://www.everydayminerals.com/ FREE really generous sized samples. I actually ordered the samples a few times to get the color and formula I liked, right..

Then I ordered a set - and a whole brush set...which was super cheap and a really nice set.

I like their stuff for face - not hot on their shadows, or blushes (dont stay on) but the face stuff does, and it's super nice. I really am happy I found it.

Shadows - I use a lot of Tigi Bedhead brand - theyre really nice, and I eBay for them....theyre kinda pricey at a salon, and theyre crazy cheap on eBay...theyre super nice. And MAC pigments are great...but shadows, Ill totaly use anything if the color is what I want. I have a Bobbi Brown shadow in Gunmetal (really dark charcoaley grey) I recently bought and it's REALLY nice. Very smooth texture, stays on nice!! Its my first Bobbi Brown purchase. Stila is also a nice smooth one.

Blush - I have 2 brand favorites...NARS (OMG I LOVE NARS!) and Too Faced Bronzers...snow bunny and pink leopard. Both phenomenal.

Mascara - MAC's is fabulous AND cheap $10, but then Timmy sent me a sample of Estee Lauders Mascara - I dont know whether to thank her, or shake my fist at her. Its UNREAL! Lashes like movie stars...and $28.50

Ive never cared for Clinique as a whole. Their shadow, and blush doesnt have a whole lot of pigment - although I love their lip stuff.
