I am doing my taxes tonight and tomorrow, but I just caught up on my day of reading your posts!!!!!
It is a BEAUTIFUL day here. I didn't get over to the nursery, but I spent some time watering my existing plants. I LOVE this time of year.
It was crappy here. Overcast/spitting rain/drizzle and like 40 degrees... will be like this until Friday I think. I guess I should have gotten my pansies planted!!!!! They would have enjoyed the rain!
If the girl I work with doesnt stop acting like she is SO slammed and doing SO much work everytime someone important is around.

I know what you mean. I had someone like that... but then I put it in an email to someone who responded with a joke, which in turn I forwarded to the person I was complaining about... yeah, that was fun, man did I cry and cry and cry. What an **** I was!

That looks like a really nice place to spend a NICE day! Hope we get some around here soon. Do you have my number???? I too do not answer calls that I don't know the number. I am not good with telemarketers... they get me all riled up!
Speaking of nice days and nice day trips.... my girlfriend wanted me to go to Franklin Park Zoo with her on Saturday.
I did not because
#1 I would never go there because the area is not safe. (I used to type grand jury testimony, and there were some bad cases around there that scared the crap out of me)
#2 because we had to get the tire fixed, and
#3 Sarah had her recital that evening.
I was only contemplating going with her and the kids for a couple of hours because there would have been three mothers, two fathers and a bunch of kids, so at least we would have numbers on our side as far as safety goes..... so she tells my DH to tell me that it is safe... so we both say, 'yeah, if you have to tell someone that a place is safe, then it can't be too safe.' So of course yesterday I see her, and she got some color from being out in the sun, and was saying what a good time they had, and I really like the two other mothers too, and don't often get to see them, so I was kind of like feeling down that I missed such a good time.....
Well, wouldn't you know, that a father and son were leaving that zoo yesterday (in daylight) and someone ripped the sons gold chain off of his neck and the father tried to get it back and got SHOT for his trouble!!!!!
Yeah, real safe! So, needless to say, the other mothers that were talked into going will NOT be going next time she wants to go!!!!!

am working 11 days straight... anyway going back to what I did today. We went to check out the Local Orchard to have nieces and nephew do the Bunnyland Hayride and have their face painted and just play with dirt
