POP refurbed rooms with Flat Screens! Update Page 13 **

I love the new decor. I'm not a big fan of border wallpaper. I love the blue accent wall, it's calming and doesn't scream cheap hotel.

Not a big fan of the nemo themed wallpaper at CBR. I think it is tacky. One of those things that makes you go,"what were they thinking?" lol

Hey all,

Got back last night from my first stay at the POP. I had a pretty good experience just a few little issues. The trip had some drama though but it had nothing to do with POP. I had room 9225 and it was a renovated room. I will post pictures on the POP picture board if someone can post the link for me because I have no idea where that is. I also spoke to a cast member and the update is that building 6 and 9 are done and they are finishing building 8 next week; that's all the info she had. I tried putting the do you dis laminated paper I had done on the room door with magnets and I don't know if my magnets were crappy or the door has too many layers of paint but I had no success. Overall I definitely think I would stay at the POP again and hopefully be able to actually enjoy the pool which looked really nice.

I don't know. But I did just stay in a refurb room this past weekend and it was a standard room.

I've merged your request into the main thread discussing the refurbs..

Basically here's what we know for sure.. Building 6 is in the 70's and buildings 8 and 9 are in the 80's/90s..

As of right now all of building 6 and 9 have been completed. Floors 2, 3, and 4 have been completed in building 8

The Rehab rooms have new carpeting, new drapes, flat screen tv, a privacy curtain between the bedroom and the vanity area, a curved shower curtain rod and new shower curtain. Also there is a peg board with 4 hooks on it.

The wall behind the bed is now painted blue, and there is no longer a border around the ceiling.

When we checked in on April 3rd, we asked for a room in the 50's but they said those weren't refurbed yet so we stuck with one in the 70's.

by the end of 12 weeks.. all the buildings should be about done..

As for whether the 60's will be done in time for your trip - only way to know for sure is to ask at check-in...

Yes.

The entire resort will be refurbished by then.

Update:
We returned from Pop last night. We had a room in building 7 in the 80's, last room on the top floor (closest to 90's) facing the computer pool (room #7461). I noticed the first floor of the 90's building was being refurbed while we were there. Upon our departure, we were surrounded by folks/tools/materials waiting for us to leave so they could begin the changes to the entire wing we were staying in. There was so much paraphernalia surrounding the area that we actually had a hard time getting our bags to the elevators.

We're due to go to Pop in just under 2 weeks and I plan to check in online 10 days before Wouldn't mind having a refurbed room!

I thought the shower curtain had been changed too, but unless a different color it is the exactly same.

Rooms do look nice though - not crazy about the busy carpet, but who notices the carpet much anyway?

I will say this - this has been going MUCH slower than I expected.

Cool! When I do online check in, I will ask for a refurb room in building 6 and note that if they cannot accommodate that,a refurb in any building will suffice.
