Have you made your ADRs already? You should be able to do it at the 180 day mark. If you haven't, I recomend doing it as soon as you know what you want

And, just a thought to throw out there ... if you really want AoA, keep calling Disney ... as you may know, guests are allowed to make changes even after the promo ends, as long as rooms are available under the code. Since guests do change daily, a LM room may open up for your dates. [/QUOTE]

Yes, there has been an iron and an ironing board in each room we've had at Pop. I've never used them, so can't say how well they work. I do not iron on vacation -- I thought it was illegal.

Here's an issue that came up --I'm flying in from Chicago, and my friend is flying from CT, and our flights are scheduled to get in about 20 minutes apart. We're planning to meet at the ME desk. However, Chicago is supposed to have showers tomorrow, and I'm hoping they don't cause flight delays, but if one plane is going to be significantly late, we agreed to have the earlier person go ahead on to Pop and check in. I know that if it's me getting in earlier, that's no problem. Her name is on the reservation, though -- would she still be able to get the room assigned and get keys if I'm not there?

Chicago is used to much worse weather, so hopefully you'll be okay. As far as checking in, I don't know for sure, but I would assume you'd be alright since her name is on the reservation even though it is under yours, you could always call and double check, though.

O'Hare's my "home" airport, and I've been in and out of here MANY times -- as big as it is, things don't often get delayed because of weather, but we may be getting severe storms tomorrow, and I'm flying out in the afternoon, so if there are delays in the morning, they tend to stack up. I'll deal with whatever happens, but was more concerned about having my friend stranded, not able to get into a hotel room! I'm sure it will all work out.

Irons and ironing boards in POP rooms- I iron daily and they have always worked fine at POP. I think they are the same ones as in the mod rooms.

Does anyone know how the fountain water at the food court tastes? I want to fill up our bottles there in the AM. I do have the brita bottles but I'm worried it won't get the taste out.

Love reading all the posts - come here for my daily "fix". I'm really getting excited for our first stay at POP.

I do have a question: how are the buses to Downtown Disney? I've read in other threads that taking a cab to DD is preferable since the bus service is so slow

Does POP share buses with any other resort? And if so, which resorts? I remember at the All Stars there was one bus that stopped at all of them (except at park opening and closing).

This is a big reason why we are stying at POP over ASMo. It will be our first time at a value (since it's only my second trip to disney), and I was worried about having to take busses everywhere since we stayed on the monorail last time. I have heard great things about POP busses and I am super excited to find out!!

If all goes well with the bussing for my upcomming trip with my sister, then I am more likely to book value when I come back with my kids!
