Does POP share buses with any other resort? And if so, which resorts? I remember at the All Stars there was one bus that stopped at all of them (except at park opening and closing).
Not only does POP not share buses with any resorts, it also has one of the best bus system of all the resorts. There's only one stop at the resort, so you don't have to worry about making multiple stops or buses filling up at the previous stops. Plus, the waits for buses at POP seem to be much less than at some other resorts--there always seems to be a new bus arriving!

I agree, we have always had good luck with pop busses. Last year we ate at Yacht and Beach Club. No problems getting bus in but going back was a real problem. They share busses with I think Boardwalk and Swan and Dolphin. There were literally 50 people at the bus stop and every bus was full coming in. It was a mob scene, no lines and it took an hour and a half to get a bus out to Downtown. I was annoyed but imagine paying the big bucks to stay there to have to share busses with 3 other resorts...Wouldn't stay there for that reason.

Irons and ironing boards in POP rooms- I iron daily and they have always worked fine at POP. I think they are the same ones as in the mod rooms.

Does anyone know how the fountain water at the food court tastes? I want to fill up our bottles there in the AM. I do have the brita bottles but I'm worried it won't get the taste out.

The water is great!! I have Kleen Kanteen bottles and have filled them up there with no problem. The water from the fountain does not taste like the nasty tap water at all. The tab for the water is underneath the Powerade button if I recall. Make sure you let it run a second to get the Powerade out of the line before you start filling your bottle. HTH! :goodvibes

Just had to throw this on here since I've been doing my silly countdowns.

Tonight, we sprung the surprise on my unwitting son that he was going to Disney World tomorrow. His reaction was silly and I loved every second of it. Just thought I'd throw the link out there.....

And BTW, 36420 seconds. That's 607 minutes as of 8:23pm EST! :happytv:

Video link: Caleb's Disney Surprise

Ralph: Love the video!! Hope your travels were smooth.

Have fun! :cool1:

On our way to the airport now, flying in from O'Hare- flight was delayed a little but should be arriving at Orlando at 2:30pm. So excited! First time staying onsite, and first time at POP! Can't wait to get there! :)

I am so jealous! Have lots of fun, take lots of pictures and enjoy every moment.

Rachella, I'll be flying out of O'Hare this afternoon to Pop! Let's hope the rain doesn't push flights out at all. Much smarter flying first thing in the morning -- I couldn't do that this trip, though.

:banana::banana::banana: CAN'T WAIT!

Both of you have a great vacation!

I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!! The closer I get to going on my trip, the less DISboards is satisfing my addiction....I'm ready to go, lets get this vacation rolling. I keep of trying to find things to do to pass the time, but nothing works, especially since my husband will be gone all next week, so I am putting some things off till then, hoping to keep myself busy.

*sigh* okay, thanks for letting me vent and go a little crazy. I feel better now :rotfl:

Does POP sell cases of water in the gift shop and how much are they?

No cases of water. But I know alot of people have them shipped. I think my brother had his shipped from staples of all places. We always have the mugs so we always end up with water from the food court anyway.

I was going to order some stuff from Garden Grocer, but paying $70 for fruit, water, juice and 2 kinds of milk seems outrageous. We have the free QS with refillable mugs and also just bought the brita water bottles. Does this seem reasonable for enough drinks? If we eat at POP, we will save our bottled drinks that come with the CS meal for the parks and just use our mugs.

I did want some drinks in the room. Has anyone put juice boxes in their luggage? I am afraid they will leak, but maybe it would be ok. I would not put them in a suitcase with clothing.

What about trying those little tube things (tea, lemonade, etc) that you just put in water, shake and done? These would take up a lot less room and weigh less than juice boxes.

Me, again, just freaking out about the water. :scared1: I think I'm going to ship it from Walmart since it is so cheap. Will POP charge me a delivery fee? Has anyone done this and know how you put in the address?

We check in at Pop next Wednesday, then head to Kouzzina for breakfast. We have a Preferred reservation, excited to see where we will end up!

Have you tried Mio, the water enhancer, it tastes so much better than those little packets and come in probably 10 diferent flavors and fits easily in any bag or pocket.

I have heard such great things about POP, that we decided that we are going to stay here for our next trip. Unfortunately, I have a long time to wait.....In the meanime, I will get my fix by reading all of the great posts here.

There seem to be a lot of people arriving this Weds.! I'm so excited, too, to see where my room will be. It better be good! I asked for 60s lakeview.
