You'll have a great time at SSR. It's a beautiful resort with lots of plusses. Two themed pools, walking distance to DTD, just a bus away from all the other parks. They have the best chocolate cake at Artist's Palette that you can buy in single serving packs. I think my son ate several of those the last time we stayed at SSR.

Thanks! I can't wait. I saw some gorgeous photos of SSR on the resort photo section. It's beautiful. One of my favorite things about POR is the walk along the river. I never minded the long walks because of the lovely grounds. I can see we are in for some pretty walks along the river at SSR.

Chocolate cake in single serving packs at Artist's Palette, huh? Sounds like a must try to me. We love chocolate cake. DGS will enjoy that.

If you want to try to get something during the 7 days before your arrival, you have to call and check. There is no waitlist, but you can sometimes get what you want because of a cancellation.
