About an 11

Used it again two weeks ago...didn't get tags but I booked only 6 days before I left, then did only carry-on anyway. Still only took about an hour and a quarter to get from DME check-in to our resort check-in. Great service.

I'd love to hear everyone's experience with DME. If you've used it, can you please answer these questions for me and add any other comments. DH is curious if we should try to arrange other transport if that is even possible at this late date. DH hates waiting. THANKS!!!!!

First Timer :Pinkbounc
Wilderness Lodge
June 8-14th

1) 20 days before departure, but they were very very wrong

2) 11:30am

3) 12:15pm

4) All Star Sports, about 45 minutes (first stop!)

5) Yes, 5 of our 6 suitcases were in our room 8 hours later...had to call and ask them to please find and deliver my suitcase! Then, when leaving (from WL), continental had apparently randomly flagged our family for some security thing. We could not check our bags outside WL, so had to drag 4 kids and 13 bags through airport checkin line at airport...after being driven by taxi when WL would not let us board our DME bus, saying it was the wrong bus. They were wrong. Was NOT a driver's fault, that we can see. It was the guys at WL who insisted that it was the 335 bus NOT our 405 bus.

6) If they charged $1 for DME, I would not use it. We were too unlucky this time, which caused unnecessary stress. Had to fight with WL's DME CMs to find a way to get us to the airport on time. They wanted us to take the next bus, which would get us to the airport about 40 minutes before flight. Could not, since our luggage still needed checked. Then they wanted us to get ourselves a taxi, and then apply for possible reimbursement later. We argued on, until they gave us money for the taxi $60. Since we were sitting outside an HOUR before our DME bus departure time, and had already talked to the outdoor desk and gotten our bags set out next to us, we did not miss our bus...WL DME CMs missed it for us.

bumping again.....I'd love to hear from some more people with recent experiences!
