Does anyone know how many points it takes to stay at other Disney hotels like Animal Kingdom Lodge, Polynesian, Contemporary, etc? Can DVC points be used for these places?

You can use points for those resorts,but It is ridiculously crazy amount to do so.It is at least 35 points a night and that is the cheapest I think,I am not for sure and that is just for Sun-Thurs stays.
DVC can be used for the other hotels and cruises but if that is the way you would spend your points then you would be losing money.
DVC is intended for the DVC resorts.I would love to stay at AKL or use mine for a cruise but I could stay 3 days in a studio for what it would be one night at AKL.So we just pay cash for those stays.
DVC is Wondeful if you are using the DVC resorts.
