I'm worn out from laughing, I'm going to bed. Thanks again, Tig. I was having a rough day until your herpes post! Btw, I hope you're feeling better too and get the WDW trip figured out.

Good night, All!

I've read back two pages, I am VERY afraid to read back farther than that. :rotfl:

Good night, All!

I woke up this morning thinking of herpes. :rotfl2: Can't say I've ever done that before, unless I've had a cold sore. :rotfl: And then you'd better believe it was not genital herpes! :teeth:

Yay, spring break is over. The kids will all be back in school today!

Now that's a Courtney Love song if I've ever heard of one! :teeth:

You know what's great about being an insomniac stay-at-home mom? Since I've been up since 3:15 cleaning and doing laundry, I'm now finished with everything I needed to get done today! On the other hand, I'm now too sleepy to do anything else.

My cast is starting to get stinky, too. :crazy2:

luv, why aren't you sleeping? And if you aren't sleeping, why in the world are you cleaning? :faint: You are clearly not my sister and obviously teva is the only one that my mom did not keep (good thing she didn't keep you teva or you'd have herpes, too, teva, but not genital!).

Ugh. I've been an insomniac since high school (sure came in handy in college, tho'!). I had a sleep study done which showed that even while I'm sleeping, my brain emits all the waves it normally would while I'm awake and thinking (alpha waves, maybe?)--it's always constantly "on." Other than sleeping pills--which only work for so long, then give me that 'rebound effect'--all I can do is practice relaxation techniques. I'm one of those annoying type-A, anal-retentive, get-it-done-now people, so I don't really know how to relax in the first place (which also explains why I'm cleaning at 3 am!) :headache: Oy!!!

Herpes and porn stars and insomnia, oh my! (catchy tune :rotfl2: )

I'm tuning up the handbasket, I think we will need it today! :teeth:

(oh, Good Morning! :surfweb: )

You all are lucky I thought twice about posting the definition of cold sore last night. Had to go do a search on cold sores to see it what I was told about the connection between chicken pox and cold sores was true and came across a word that sure would have made you think and may have gotten me put on the naughty mat. :teeth:

Hi. How is everyone today? Yesterday we were so busy. DH finally bought a new hedge trimmer and trimmed the hedges in the front of the house. We have been living here for 13 years and never properly trimmed the hedges.
I admit they sure needed it. Although he got a bit carried away with his new toy. He trimmed off way too much on the bottom, which resulted in even more work because a lot of leaves and garbage had collected under the hedges after all these years.

Allison and I raked the front yard and picked up all the dead branches from the last storm. Then I had to clean out from under the hedges. I would often tease DH and tell him we had to trim them real good cause they were so wild they would grab someone when they walked by and would beat them up. :rotfl2:

When the weather gets warmer and stays warm we plan on doing some painting. We also have to trim the hedge in the back yard by our deck and have a lot of yard work thats needs to be done back there too.

Sorry and embarrased to say that we haven't been real good about keeping up with all the yard work. I just did the minor stuff. Pulled weeds, cut the hedges with clippers, and DH cut the grass.

Our deck badly needs to be cleaned and waterproofed, and the garage needs to be painted. Want to have all this done before our family reunion. Wew!

Then of course there is still the inside. Don't even want to think about that.

Yes, I do think we'll need the handbasket!

luv, I don't know if I'm a type A person or not. Sometimes I think I am, but then I think I'm the opposite. I do know that I like to sleep and need at least 8 hour of sleep every night. I've gone through periods of not being able to sleep and I hate it.

I think I'm going to need to tell my DH about the herpes comment since I'm still giggling today.

Ugh, one of our vans is in the shop today getting some work done. We're kind of funny with our vehicles. When we found out it needed work, we decided that it was too unreliable, so in December I bought my new Odyssey which I'd wanted for awhile. We were going to sell our Pontiac Montana and keep my DH's old car, an 11yo Eagle Vision. He works at home and didn't care about a new car (or even a new used car).

But then we decided to keep the old van and let our DD take his car to college. We cart kids, baseball stuff, etc, etc around so often that it's nice having both mini-vans, even though I can't believe that I'm admitting to that. But then we're full circle to needed to make the repairs. So we're finally biting the bullet, but at least we found a place that's making the repairs for $500 less than the dealer was going to charge (still $1500, but it's not $2000).

luv, can you come clean my house?

I'd love to!!! :hyper: Along with being a type A, I'm also a neat-freak, germaphobe--I  to clean!

Somethin' just ain't right with this girl, I'll tell you what.

If you're a neat freak and a germaphobe, I'm clean frantically before you got here! :rotfl2: We are so opposite! Well, except we can eat together without any problems!

And if you had of been at the White House with me yesterday you would have given dirty looks at the scumbags holding signs protesting the g/l families who were at the Easter Egg Roll. I would have yelled things at them when I walked by them, but the news camera were there at the time and I did NOT want to be on tv!

You should have lobbed eggs at them. :thumbsup2

Courtney Love song!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I am tearing up.

I need another cup of coffee before I face the day for real.
Going to clean up (luv, I need you here) and maybe go get something for the dh's birthday.

We weren't in the actual roll, but neither were they (the sign carrying idiots). They are such bigots--why don't they concentrate on something positive. It makes me sick that they were carrying signs that the kids of the g/l parents could read. To protest what the adults are doing is one thing, but when it crosses over to affect the kids it really roasts my eggs! I meant to wear a rainbow ribbon in my hair, but forgot. :teeth:

Protesting families enjoying an Easter Egg Roll--such brave bigots they are!

Sick P'sOS.

Next year I'm coming up there and we'll lob eggs at them together (and you don't even have to clean for me!)
