I can't remember who said it now, but I think the huge fight was about how Casey had stole from the grandfather's nursing home account and Cindy had just found out about it. I think that caused the big fight and during that fight Cindy said Casey needed to get her act together and maybe she should file for custody of Caylee. Casey, being a selfish brat, stormed out and took Caylee with her...knowing that would hurt Cindy the most. Casey would NEVER have given her mother the satisfaction of leaving Caylee with her after that fight. She was trying to punish Cindy by taking Caylee away from her and thus she had no built in babysitter for when she wanted to go out partying.

Heck if they had been able to find Caylee right away Casey would be lucky to have a public defender. I am still bewildered on how they are going to pay for this "dream team", and why they would waste their time with this sleezebag.

Have you seen the "dream team?" They aren't doing this for money, they are doing this because it's a high profile case and their mugs are going to be on TV alot. They will also probably cut a deal with Cindy and George for a percentage of the rights to the book that will come out one day and the TV movie. Casey can't get any of that money, but Cindy and George will be able to.

If there are teeth marks on the duct tape that are Caylee's - that blows his theory. Wouldn't she have put the duct tape over the mouth after she had already used the chloroform to knock Caylee out?

I think the theory is that the tape was in case she woke up, so she wouldn't be heard. And perhaps she did but was suffocated by the heat or the tape or something.

God, I can't even type this and think about that. I hope they can figure out what happened to this baby.

I was reading on Websleuths how pathetic it is that the defense team is trying to plant the seeds of doubt about how law enforcement and Dr. G are handling the case. I think the state needs to go into court Monday and ask for a gag order at least until the remains are identified.

Just the thought of Caylee waking up in the trunk of a car with duct tape on her mouth....having no idea where she is.....in the hot Florida sun makes me so ill. How frightened she must have been. If this is what happened I hope she did not regain consciousness from the chloroform and passed peacefully.

It's not OK to make any kind of memorial on thier property. Even when we have the evidence confirmed in front of us...it's still privaye property. The memorials can/should be out at the spot in the woods after all the tape is gone if people need to do this, and I know in public cases like this people do feel that need. If they need to lay flowers and teddy bears in a high profile public place instead of the actual final resting (if you can call it that) place, then are they really do it for Caylee anyway???

Did anyone else pick up the comment Cindy made on LKL the other nite about their last nite together? This last nite was SUPPOSEDLY the nite that she and Casey had the big fallout and then everythign fell apart. However, on LKL Cindy made a statement about the last nite and how they all shared a "paraphrasing here" lovely eveing together and were all happy. Sounds like Cindy is yet again backpedaling and rewriting history.

I missed that show but Cindy sure does that a lot. Unfortunately for her, almost everything she said is on tape and everyone knows what her first real thoughts were before she ame up with the stories.

OK, I know I am going to be in a minority here ... but I think it is pretty darn presumptuous to make your own "makeshift memorial" on someone else's property. Just because he tore down an ever expanding roadside memorial doesn't mean that he doesn't mourn Caylee's death. With the way that complete strangers feel about this little girl in no time at all the entire yard would be filled with a "makeshift memorial" ... teddy bears, flowers, dolls, pictures ... everywhere. I don't blame him one bit not wanting that kind of thing in front of the house. Would anyone really want that in front of their house?

I don't think they should be putting up memorials either. Make a donation in Caylee's name to an organization that works for kids..donate to Equsearch so maybe some other missing child can be located..but don't place stuff in front of someone's home.

Here's another thought I have had...
According to Casey/Cindy Zanny the Nanny took the child and "bad people" had her and were holding her for whatever reason and somehow the entire family was in danger...and that is why Casey couldn't talk because it would put Caylee in danger and she was protecting her daughter. Since it sounds like Caylee is most likely murdered you would think that since she is no longer in danger Casey could come out and tell LE who the bad people are and what the real story is. Trust me I don't believe any of Casey's malarky...just saying that you would think she would spill her guts now about the bad people/Zanny/kidnapping etc.

She's probably sitting her her cell trying to come up with a doozy.

Casey's defense team is on there whining they weren't granted access to the crime scene, the remains etc. Aren't the police supposed to go through the evidence, the medical examiner is allowed to do their job, then the evidence is turned over to the defense.

In fact they don't know it is Caylee yet, so why would they have access to a medical examination of the remains if they aren't Caylee? They would have no right to be anywhere near it. I can't stand Baez!!

Exactly, if they don't think Caylee is dead then they have no need to be in there. Even if it is her they still haveno right to walk into a crime scene and do whatever damage they might do to the evidence. They want to get in there so they can say "the evidence is tainted beause we were allowed to walk all over"

Yep, they stand to make their money that way...trust me if this wasn't high profile, if NG wasn't on tv with it everynight..this would all be going to JB or maybe even a public defender. They probably don't even think she is innocent, not sure how they can anymore. But acording to the law she is still entitled to defense.


My middle daughter is going into law, (she is in her first year of pre-law)one of the first things she said is that she could never be a defense attorney because she could never defend a person she knew was guilty even though they are entiled to it. My daughter wants to be a prosecutor...she wants to be the one that puts people away.

I think Casey killed Caylee to hurt her mother. The piece she left on facebook about taking away life was so telling. It was almost a confession. If her boyfriend didn't like kids she could have easily just left Casey and her parents (even if she had argued with them it would be no real hardship for her), no I think it was because she was jealous of the attention Caylee got from her parents and wanted to do something that would really hurt them. Any further than that I don't think she even thought about. Perhaps she would have got away with it too if Cindy had not phoned the Police.

We were talking about this at church the other night and this is what a couple of folks were saying. I can't imagine the grief that George and Cindy are feeling now. Bottom line though-the only person at fault for killing that baby is CASEY. She made the decision to kill that beautiful child and she alone must face the consequences.

The article says that Baez said Casey is "not doing well at all." Poor thing.
