I had to call also. Just did so last week. Was able to add November 1st onto my October 2026 trip but had to call and for some reason the CM had to have guest services make the modification. Had this happen last year also when I wanted to modify my October trip from this year. Not sure why guest services was only needed for my modifications but I was successful. Yay!.

I’m not sure we’ve seen any reports of anyone able to modify online unfortunately. Definitely grateful that you can still check availability but it seems like calling for actual changes is the way it’s gonna be.

Just booked my first bounceback offer ever for Nov-Dec. 2026. We're hopeful that we'll be able to modify our reservation to dates in spring of 2027. I tried to read back on this forum but just to double-check, the only way we can push our bounceback reservation into 2027 is if they have availability on the dates we want...is that correct?

Yes, that’s correct. As with any Disney discount, dates, resorts & room types are limited. So even if your dates are included, you might still need to be flexible with resort or room category. The other thing to note.. since Covid reopening, the BB offer has been a consistent % off room offer. So the same offer has just been extended to the next year. Before Covid, the offers changed from room discount to free dining. Those offers couldn’t be moved from year to year, as it was a whole new offer requiring a new reservation & not the same offer just being extended. So just a warning, if the offer ever changes, carrying it to the next year might not be possible.

Edited to add: since it is a room only discount, only the included dates are discounted. You can still make it a package, but any dates not included or available with the discount will be full rack rate.

Thank you so much for this! My mom and I will be taking our mother-daughter trip in Feb/Mar 2027 so our dates are flexible, depending on the dates available for bounceback. We're currently booked for after Thanksgiving at Riverside in a standard room because of the pricing but we could also be flexible on our moderate resort, dates and rates depending

If something changes and we can't move it to 2027, we'll probably just cancel the BB offer and wait for offers to come out in 2027. We're not needing to go again in 2026 so we're hoping this placeholder can be moved to 2027!

If it's not showing as available, then calling isn't going to make much difference. It is accurate, but can change hourly as people cancel and modify all the time. Keep checking, and when you see what you want, call.

Will the 2027 dates start being released at the beginning of 2026? I wasn't sure historically what the pattern was. We're currently booked for Nov. 2026 and hoping to move it to Feb. 2027 as soon as we can, if there's availability.

You just book the resort you want within the available dates at that time and then change it later. We did this when we were at DW in September and wanted a room in December 2026. We booked a week in July 2026 and the day they extended the calendar I called and changed it to the week we wanted in December 2026.

I called yesterday to modify a BB reservation starting early in the week of Thanksgiving into early Dec. The rep told me I could not modify to begin the trip any of the dates over Tgiving weekend, which include Nov 26, 27, or 28 of 2026, which surpised me. Sure enough, looking at the Bounceback terms on the Disney website now, those three dates are no longer included in this year's Bounceback promo. Looks like Disney quietly updated blackouts to these dates after initially including them in the drop on Nov 13 of 2025?
