Please help break this feud..

My wife and I are arguing over concierge level beverage options....
She seems to swear that on our last cruise she saw people getting beer all day from the lounge.
I don't think thats true. Yes there was a group of people who always...like ALLLL day had beer in the lounge and on the concierge sun deck but was it free??

Please help...I think Im right!

Officially, no. You only get drinks during events and happy hours. There are people on this board though who report helping themselves from the coolers all day long.

Technically you both are right! Self service seems to have become the normal nowadays.

I saw it happen last year on Fantasy. Some people would help themselves to the fridges under the bar for beer and sodas. The hosts did not seem concerned about it. The fridges have locks on them but they were not used.

I just got off the Wonder - the new concierge lounge is fabulous. There is the welcome happy hour the first day that lasts until about 3:30pm, then the two happy hours before dinner each night, although it seemed like my bartender was ready to pour anytime from about 5:15-9:30. I am sure it varies by cruise, but this is my recent experience. I did not see anyone helping themselves.

We were just on the Fantasy and I did not observe an open "fridge" mentality. The staff and service were very accommodating with providing and pouring, with reasonable flexibility on times - plus there were 2 sun deck social times in addition to the pre&post dinner cocktail times. I did observe that you could ask for several beverages, and maybe able to stockpile until the next opportunity They did say you could help yourself to the H2O cooler, but I never checked the others -

Thanks guys! I guess its kind of one of those things were it varies each time! Maybe Ill ask at a random time and see if they will let me have a beer...It can't hurt!
