Hello all,

My fiance and I will be in WDW middle of May for our Planning Session and Tasting. I was hoping for some feedback on what to expect at the planning session? We are trying to put together our information sheets that our planner sent to us. We are not your typical (traditional style) couple, we are more easy going with the planning. We have ideas of what we want, but still hoping for some feedack on the experience and what the planners will ask.

Also what items have some of you tasted during your tastings. We are finding it hard to select just 8 items from everything Disney offers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you everyone,

Brian

That planning sheet dictates the basic structure of the planning session. Your planner will go down the list and fill in as many details as you know now, and try to help you make decisions on the ones you don't know yet. The planning session can be a good time for "blue sky" thinking about your eventyou can ask about anything and everything you could possibly want. Much of the time, they won't be able to get you exact pricing right then, but they can do the research and get back to you. You also get to meet with the floral planner, so bring your swatches/Pinterest boards/photos of anything that inspires you.

For the tasting, I recommend trying the things that Disney might possibly screw up. Steak, Mickey waffles, mashed potatoes, sauteed asparagus... you pretty much know what these are going to taste like, and it would take a lot for Disney to screw them up. But if you're having, say, BoardWalk Inn re-create a family recipe, a dish from a theme park, or anything you are super-particular about, that's what you'll want to try.

Great suggestions! Again, thank you.
