GEO-82 Lounge now open at Epcot

I'm seeing fireworks package reservation availability for 8:00 in late August which is also the advertised closing time for the lounge. If one were to book a reservation time close to 8:00 does anyone know if they kick you out before fireworks at 9 or do they let you stay in there with the folks who paid a lot more to be there? I assume they want you out of there, and rightly so, but am curious as to how that works. I think I would be highly peeved if I paid for the fireworks package and a bunch of other people who didn't pay for it were in there too. I understand there is no time or drink maximum so technically you could stay in there until last call whenever that may be.

The package is for the tables by the windows. Everywhere else people can stay, they don't ask you to leave.

If you are seated at a table by the window and 8:00 comes around, they will move you to other seating so those with packages can sit there.

That seals the deal for me then. I will not buy that package as long as others who didn't buy it will be in there too. After a couple of poor experiences with non-paying guests at MK AH parties I'm just going to assume that the non-paying guests at these events will also not be controlled carefully. I certainly don't want a bunch of people standing around my window table to get video or a better view of the show outside. Unless I see otherwise on vlogs or reports of this experience, I'll save my money.

Well, if it helps all the vlogs I've seen, everyone stayed seated at the table as honestly, the other tables have a good view too. And no kids allowed, so that would help with little children trying to see.

But hey, I wouldn't pay for it either!

I just did this fireworks package last Saturday, and while I'm glad I did it, I won't do it again.

So for the viewing area there were 7 tables reserved for the package, 4 next to the windows and 3 set back from the windows. 3/4 of the window seats were for 4 people, while one had 2, all the ones set back from the windows were 2 seaters. It was just my girlfriend and I and we were away from the window but were fortunate that we were the dead center football shaped booth. we had a straight on view of the show and weren't really looking over the tables in front of us to see. We did hear one of the other 2 top tables complain about the view, and I don't blame them. The two tables to the side of us looked like they were set right behind two windows tables so they were having to look over the tables to see the show.

The food is what is pictured and I felt all tasted good, I do not think you can refills on the food, though I didnt ask. All the drinks were good, I don't normally drink champagne and enjoyed it. I got the old fashioned and my girlfriend the margarita. We both enjoyed the, though wish the regular menu was included with the show.

Overall I really think people are better off making 8pm or so reservation s and staying for the show. All the tables by us when we were seated stayed for the show and had almost as good seats.
