I was talking to a woman today who handles the posters at Walmart. I needed a poster for work and I first picked up one of Jack Sparrow. As I was talking to her (while trading that poster for one of Elizabeth Swan ), she told me that they are getting someone special to play Jack's father.

You know who?























Keith Richards!!

If they do, I hope he can pull it off or it's just a small (very small) part.

However, the 2nd sequel is now titled: Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest

The synopsis:
Once again thrown into the world of the supernatural, Captain Jack Sparrow finds out that he owes a blood debt to the legendary Davey Jones, Captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. With time running out, Jack must find a way out of his debt or else be doomed to eternal damnation and servitude in the afterlife. And as if this weren't enough, the Captain's problems manage to wreck the wedding plans of a certain Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, who are forced to join Jack on yet another misadventure.

They're being shot simultaneously, which is why it's taking longer for the second sequel to come out.

The company I work for is entering into various financial contracts (insurance, guarantees) with the company that's building the film set for the sequels in the Bahamas. Unfortunately there is no need at present for anyone to visit the actual site .... but it sure would be nice if sometime down the road an inspection necessary during the filming stage!! Since my boss prefers not to travel these days (recovering from medical treatment), he might send me!!

Oh well, I can dream .......

Wow! This is awesome news! I could have sworn I read here awhile back that the sequel plans were shot and JD nor OB were going to star and it was going straight to video. I was soooo disappointed when I read that. Did I dream this up, or was that a rumor at one point? Whew what a relief!
