HI Everyone!

I talked with Amanda last night (my time) and she sends everyone their love and greetings! Piper is doing fine, and loves having some new books to read that they got from the school. Some of her teachers are coming to do some work with her, and she loves having her WII hooked up.

She also loves the cards we are sending too.

Amanda thinks they will have about 20 days between getting out of the hospital and their trip. Let's keep thinking good thoughts for them as she continues to get better. She is uber looking forward to getting the big give boxes from her mom's house this weekend, and also using her mom's computer to upload some photos.

I'm on the computer at the heart center right now (I asked and they said I could use it for a few, lol.) We're doing fine, Piper's lung functions were up to 46% today, which is a good thing. I was going to try to get home tomorrow but they're calling for weather, so I'm not sure if I will or not We got about 9 inches of snow over the weekend, so no visitors either! Tracy (Manntra) sent us a package here at the hospital and we received it today! I took lots of pics and will get them posted if I get home tomorrow, otherwise, I'll be posting a ton of pics next week! Tracy..she absolutely loved everything you sent, thank you so much! Not going to put what was in it here so I don't ruin the pics post! Ok..I better get off here before theu throw me out! Thank you all for all the positive thoughts and prayers..OH! and we're up to 71 e-cards! Everyone that comes in loves keeping up with the count, Piper's having a blast with it!

Hello everyone! I'm at Gram's doing laundry and picking up packages (10!?!) of them, not to mention cards and postcards. I'm uploading pics as I type this, so before I leave I'll get them posted, even if the commentary is brief! Piper is doing great, she had a student nurse (male) assigned to her today and she thought he was very cute, so she shouldn't be missing Mommy too much! They were getting set to play Wii when I left the hospital! We got a call from Camille (Millie) Tues night, and it was great to get to speak with her, I prob kept her on the phone too long, but I think we were both enjoying the conversation. Piper even got to talk to Mackenzie, Camille's daughter, and you would have thought it was two teenaged girls talking on the phone with all the chatter! I hope everyone is doing well, Piper said to tell everyone "hello"..we should be coming home next week mid-week sometime Once the pics are up, I'll put the update in the title! Thank you all for the continued support and prayers, it really does make a difference. We're up to over 80 e-cards now, the nurses are joking about running out of wall. I'll post an updated pic of ALL of them before we leave!
