Yes but I love this tradition. I look at the coins and think of all the "wishes" they represent.

What a tedious job it must be for someone to have to clean all the coins out of places like this. Wishing wells and fountains, I can understand, but why people throw coins in places like this baffles me.

...I wish people would stop trowing coins in hard-to-reach places.
