It's a veritable Festival there!! How fun to get to be just a small part of her happiness! THanks for letting us see how happy she is!

Thank you, Liesa! It had been a little party in her room every time we get a package or e-cards! It's awesome to me how positive she stays in spite of things like being trapped in a hospital room for 3 weeks! It's been great being back on today, even for just a few hours! The time passes quickly and drags at the hospital, if that makes any sense at all. It doesn't seem like it's been two weeks, but another week seems like forever! LOL.

Awwww it was so nice to see pictures of Piper and to see that sweet smile again! I love the clothes and the tote bags! Wow!! They look awesome!! Such talented people....I don't think I have sat at a sewing machine since Home Economics (do they even have that anymore ) back in 7th grade. Love that picture of Piper with her tote bag and her expression!! 20 questions is always fun and this one especially so because it is shaped like Mickey and has Mickey related questions!
She should be able to find lots of things around Disney that she can have her name put on....ears of course and I think there are various things throughout that you can have engraved, etc...my niece bought one of those leather wrist bands and had her name engraved...

Thank you, Tracy I sew a bit, but nothing like what she's been receiving! We've been having such a great time with that game! LOL. And I'm taking back aaa batteries so she can get into the camera (she's been dying to!) We're definitely getting ears, and we'll have our eyes out for other engravables. She gets so excited to have things with her name on them!

Hello everyone! I'm at Gram's doing laundry and picking up packages (10!?!) of them, not to mention cards and postcards. I'm uploading pics as I type this, so before I leave I'll get them posted, even if the commentary is brief! Piper is doing great, she had a student nurse (male) assigned to her today and she thought he was very cute, so she shouldn't be missing Mommy too much! They were getting set to play Wii when I left the hospital! We got a call from Camille (Millie) Tues night, and it was great to get to speak with her, I prob kept her on the phone too long, but I think we were both enjoying the conversation. Piper even got to talk to Mackenzie, Camille's daughter, and you would have thought it was two teenaged girls talking on the phone with all the chatter! I hope everyone is doing well, Piper said to tell everyone "hello"..we should be coming home next week mid-week sometime Once the pics are up, I'll put the update in the title! Thank you all for the continued support and prayers, it really does make a difference. We're up to over 80 e-cards now, the nurses are joking about running out of wall. I'll post an updated pic of ALL of them before we leave!

Awwwww shooooot! Are my cheeks turning red? Whatya tawlkin about?!? I loved talking with you! I was the one who felt bad about keeping you on the phone for almost an hour and half! I think your just being kind by saying it was you who kept me! I loved talking with you and getting to hear your voice! It was cute to hear the girls go on like a couple tennie boppers, they had a time of it. When I asked Mackenzie if she wanted to come and talk with Piper, she said.....Uuuuuh Yea! Like duh mom! Piper was pretty excited too, so cute! I didn't want to comment here about it until you did, it wouldn't have been near as much fun until you were here to enjoy it.
We miss you guys being here!! I'll be so happy to hear your back home and doing well again. And before you know it, your time for packing and settling up all the last minute details will be here!!! I mean like in a matter of a week or two you'll be hoppin like a mad toad to get your things all settled and done for your trip of a life time!!!

Oh, Amanda! I'm so glad you got to get out and get some time to get some fresh air and a change of scenery! Even if it is to do laundry!

Agreed! You needed it I'm sure, even if it was just to get out and blow the hospital stink off ya! Hey! I live in Texas. I can get away with saying things like that.

So glad to hear from you Amanda! I'm so happy that Piper is feeling better. I'm sure I can speak for the group when I say that we will all be so excited to see you and Piper at home posting daily again.

Hey Piper and Amanda!! Oh my gosh yall are getting so close. I cannot wait till you guys are home and going on your trip! Alyssa sent Piper an E-Card today. That is such a great idea!! I love the pics! Alyssa thought it was funny how they have pics almost identical lol. Unfortunatly they were hospital pics, but you just gotta love the smiles that come come from the Big Givers!!! Ill try to catch up to ya soon. Can you believe the snow we are getting? Sheesh Im so over it!! Its snowing still! I hope Piper is able to get a good view of it although she is probably sick of looking at it too by now lol.
