photopass viewing????

We are planning on buying the photopass cd at the end of our trip. Is it true that you can only view the pictures of the park you are actually in. or can you view MK at MGM. Do you have to add the borders to those pictures then at that park or can you add the borders to any of them at the end of the trip?

I bought the CD in January and I could view ALL my pictures at the photo center in EPCOT. You can also add borders, autographs..... there too.

My DS just returned and he loaded up the photopass all week long. Then on the last day they went to EPCOT and had all the photos put on the CD. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RELEASE/WAIVER THAT SHOULD BE INSIDE THE JEWEL CASE. This will allow you to go to any (cvs, walgreens, walmart) store in your hometown to have them developed. And YES, the CM down loaded all the borders right there with DS and DGF. They spent about an hour getting all the borders RIGHT THEN. AT THE END ON THEIR TRIP.

THREE PLACES. EPCOT in the Photo store, Mickey's TOON TOWN, and GF (second floor I believe)!!! You will need to ask the CM's at the Park that take YOUR picture. YUP, LOAD IT UP. Take as many pictures a day as possible. Have your whole group, then do the kids, then mom and dad, then gram and grampa AND at every sight in every Park.
The CD is well worth the $99 IF YOU LOAD IT UP. Because on the WDW Photopass web site the pictures are $13.00 for ONE and they are are 5x7. If you take the cd and the release to CVS they will make any size you want, preferably 4x6 for your photo album.

Please remember this does NOT include the pictures taken on RIDES, like Splash Mt or BTMRR, or ToT, no, just the pictures that the CM's take of you as you walk around all the PARKS.

Doesn't that mean that you can go up to anyone who takes pics for photopass and they'll take a pic for you and then you can view them online for 30 days after your trip? YES, when staying at WDW you do get the PhotoPass Service..YES! The situation is that IF you choose to BUY them from WDW ONLINE on the Photopass Web Site each picture is very $$$$. They are ALL 5x7 (large) and ONE is $13.00! Now go ahead and load up the CD with 300 pictures if you want to buy all 300 x $13.00 = $4000.00 (???) but to LOAD up the CD and pay $99.00 you then get a RELEASE and can go to any store in the USA and get them all developed there for like PENNIES per picture. AND better still you do not have to get all of them 5x7 and you OWN the CD you do not have to develop them in 30 DAYS. And WDW will download the borders as well. And you do NOT have to develop ALL OF THEM just half if you like. EASY & EASY

I cant thank you enough! I'm such a newbie, none of my family have ever gone to disney but im a big scrapbooker! This just saved my 1,500 dollar camera from going on this trip I was just griping today about the thought of having to lug that huge thing around all the time.

I can get by on my little kodak 3 megapix camera for shots of stuff like the castle. I plan on buying post cards of things like the Lion King show etc and scrap book around those. THanks again

BTW....did you mean the Grand Floridian 2nd floor is where we can also get a CD and do our borders??

I am NOT exactly sure where at the GF. My son was just there and he was told those three spots. He opted for EPCOT Photo Ctr right next to the HUGE BALL which is SPACE SHIP EARTH. You cannot miss it.

They will upload your photos in front of you and then download the borders YOU want on to each and every photo and they have a TON to choose from.

Also please make sure you bring another camera as well. Like you mentioned for shots that you can take where the CM's are NOT!!! You know, meals, and resort photos. ETC ETC

ALSO NURSEY:

I ALWAYS buy a ton of postcards to include in my photo albums no matter where I go. For our last WDW trip in Feb DH & I obviously hit all the Parks BUT before I would put the pics in from AK that I took, I would put in a postcard I purchased from AK and then all my photos. LOOKS so nice and everyone always comments on my photocard addition to my album.

I just want to tell everyone how nice the photopass people are who help you when there is a problem. I lost 6 days of photos off my photopass, (long story short..the photographer switch my photopass with someone else and I didn't know it until I came home). I had, had a cd made off the photopass and didn't view all of the pictures, when I got home and realized that some of my photos were missing, I called the GF where I had the cd made, they gave me a number to call and they call in a timely matter and also found my pictures and overnighted a new cd for me. So thanks Disney!!!

I just want to add that the $99 is well worth it. I had over a 100 pictures on my photopass. I took it to Wal-mart showed them the waiver and they printed my pictures no problem.
