Photopass sharing? Any problems?

Hi all!
I'm just wondering if anyone has had any major problems with the photopass sharing - aside from the usual communication glitches, small hassles of organizing several people. Did the copied CD's of pics turn out well? Were there issues with missing pictures or anything like that?
Thanks! I think I'd like to do this, but I'm nervous about trying it... sorry! (The pictures are pretty important to me, I'm realizing!)

Before they start with the horror stories, done it twice so far and absolutely NO problems. Love my pics, loved the price!!

we participated in a photopass share in September and had no problems whatsoever. The organizer was wonderful and kept me well informed (order date, arrival date, mailing date, etc) I know that you would be trusting a complete stranger to take your money and eventually send you the cd, but I'd say it is well worth risking the minimal amount of money (I think it's usually less than $20) to get a cd with all of your Disney pictures on it that normally costs $100-120.

I did one for the first time in August and it was well worth it!!

I've only read of ONE problem, and that problem was ultimately taken care of by another person and a caring photopass staff.

I have organized PhotoPass shares for another web community the last two years. The only problem I've had is people who say, "Oh, yeah, I want to join up!" then fail to pony up their share of the cost - which, of course, means that they don't get their CD. But it also means that the cost for the other participants goes up, unless we get someone else to take their spot.

Simply asking for payment in advance, via PayPal, or cash if you happen to meet up with the participants while at WDW, usually takes care of this problem.

As to missing pics or problems with the CDs, that's all the responsibility of the coordinator who manages the group and copies the CDs. In my groups, I keep things simple - I simply duplicate the PhotoPass CDs onto DVDs, without splitting the pics. This is possible with my group, because we're all friends and don't mind if the rest of the group sees our pics (it's not like you can get anything sensitive or personal on PhotoPass anyway). And I test each disk after burning to make sure it functions.

Organization and communication are key. Get organized, and let everyone know clearly what the rules of the share are, and everything will go fine.
