Well it took several tries at different settings, the biggest thing that help was that this ride was in a shady area and that help a lot.
For this shot I used shutter priority @ 1/10 sec, ISO 100. This was hand held but I braced my self against the fence around the ride.
The key is not to shot in bright sunlight, early morning or later in the afternoon and have the sun to your back, also if you have a polarizing filter use it and that will give you 1.5 stop of light, so if you shooting at 1/80 sec and then put on a polarizing filter you then be shooting at 1/60 sec.
Also focus on a stationary object, I focus on the center and not on the swing seats.
Hope this helps.

Holy Cow - that's my home town! I miss it like crazy... there's no place like home. Great pictures!
Glad I could give you a taste of home! I love walking around there in the summer.

May be just as well - I seemed to have a bad camera day - I just wasn't on any right settings at all. Oh well, here are my attempts as best I can!
I tried as best I could to minimise the glare!!!)
)shushh - is it warm enough for swimming in Sydney at the moment??? I don't think it is warm enough up here yet (for me) but I guess it was the kids, after all!! They are impervious to cold, aren't they?!! Oh and congratulations to your daughter - well done on winning her race.
